My recent stay at this hotel was characterized by its exceptional flexibility and willingness to accommodate guests' requests. I started by leaving my luggage before officially checking in, a service they graciously allowed, enabling me to explore luggage-free. Additionally, a sudden change in my room preference during check-in was met with understanding and immediate action from the staff. While the overall experience was positive, the initial impression of a smoke odor in the room was a bit off-putting, especially considering the staff's assurance that the entire floor was smoke-free. However, their quick response to the issue, including the use of air freshener and an odor absorber machine, demonstrated their commitment to guest comfort. Once past the initial hiccup, the room itself proved to be quite pleasant. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom, despite a minor issue with the shower drain, was well-appointed. The staff's efforts to address concerns promptly and efficiently left me with an overall positive impression. In conclusion, this hotel stands out for its flexibility, responsiveness, and commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay for its guests. While there were minor challenges, the positive aspects of the experience, including a comfortable bed and a well-designed bathroom, contributed to an ultimately enjoyable stay.

Feel sorry for the hotel. The hotel was so luxury in the mid 90s, but now looks terrible. You won't get proper AC both in the lounge/receptionist and in the bed room. Unless you are enjoying spa..then this will be the right hotel for you. Funny that the technicians fixed the AC room by knocking the AC panel/box only.... Abrakadabra... then....nothing changed... The hotel is believed in dispute between the owner and the hotel staff, and in financial problem. And.... you have to pay car park and for vallet service... no ticket

Rooms are old, but reception & services were good, they upgraded our room type to Japenese theme room with better view when we encountered faulty shower tap. Very happy 2 days stay. Breakfast serving very locals authentic Surabaya food. Walking distance to Tourism Center, Tunjungan Plaza, Apsari Park, Gedung Negara Grahadi, Surya Park&City Hall, Surabaya Mall, Patung Suro & Boyo Park, Submarine Muzium & Grand City Mall etc etc.
