        Rooms are older but kept in great shape. Bathroom looked recently remodeled. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great location! I stayed here 20 years ago and will stay here again in the future.

        On arrival (9pm) our room wasn't ready and we were offered another, cheaper hotel further away. We didn't accept and waited around 45 minutes for the room to be ready. The room and hotel is old and in need of a make over. The location, breakfast, price we paid and some staff, made up for it. Our room was only cleaned once in 3 days, we think because we chose to take the key with us, instead of leaving it at the desk. The bed was uncomfortable. The roof top terrace had a great view.         The attention to detail from the staff is incredible. Aside from the amazing location, Fabio, Marco, Tony and Spiros went above and beyond helping out sorting last minute arrangements when another city fell through. Immense appreciation for the breakfast service, housekeeping, and the incredible attention to detail. If you want to visit the city, do it while being taken care of by Hotel Genio!

The room and hotel is old and in need of a make over. The location, breakfast, price we paid and some staff, made up for it. Our room was only cleaned once in 3 days, we think because we chose to take the key with us, instead of leaving it at the desk. The bed was uncomfortable. The roof top terrace had a great view.         Very good location, friendly staff and good showers. The rooms though, smelled dusty and unpleasant, there were no electrical plugs near the beds, And the breakfast wasn’t so good as well. We would rate this hotel 2-3 stars, only because of the location and friendly staff. Defiantly not a 4 star hotel.

        Hotel is in a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop has great views and excellent place to eat breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of options. Stayed twice in 2 diff rooms. First room was okay, small which is to be expected in Europe and window opened to inner courtyard which sounded like there is also a restaurant that backed to same courtyard. Noise wasn't that loud and was done every night by 10:00 PM. Turned on TV to drown out the noise anyway. Bathroom served its purpose but shower didn't drain well and there was mold high up on the ceiling but I have seen that at brand named hotels. Wifi worked well. Second stay we rec'd a larger room and cleaner bathroom(no mold), shower drained but water pressure lower than first room. Overall experience was great because we spent more time exploring and experiencing Rome then sitting in the room so the hotel served its purpose well. I would stay here again.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
