        Location is amazing. Very close to the train station and walkable/convenient to get to many places within Rome. Room serves its purpose. Might not be the cleanest but you get what you pay for and everything was within expectations. There was heater & hot water in my room. Breakfast exceeded expectations! Loved the panini and pastries.

The bed was uncomfortably soft, and the pillows were as flat as pancakes, making for a restless night's sleep. One major disappointment was that the photos on booking platforms did not accurately represent the hotel's actual condition. It's a classic case of "what you see is not what you get." The discrepancy between the appealing images online and the reality of the hotel was quite stark. Additionally, I would strongly advise against including breakfast if you choose to stay. The breakfast start after 7.30am and the offerings were underwhelming, leaving much to be desired. It's better to explore local cafes for a more satisfying morning meal particularly if you have to check out early to catch a train. Overall, my experience at Hotel Giglio was far from enjoyable, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations in Rome.

        The hotel is strategically situated near Roma Termini terminal making transportation easy and accessible. There are many establishments nearby to eat and safety is not a problem. However the elevator is super small and the breakfast is too simple! They also served bread and the coffee is not even decent. The rooms are quite spacious however it is a bit old. The bed is not very comfy and hard.

        Do not stay here! The rooms are dirty, the AC doesn’t work and the showers are covered in mold. Please see the pictures. I asked for another room and they claimed that they were full so we’re stuck in this dirty room at least for tonight. The sheets smell dirty and the duvet had stains. The carpets are so dirty, there are cobwebs in the ceiling. They do not have black out curtains. The mattress are hard and springy. This is the worst place you can spend your money at. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here.
