        We have reserved a room here in august 2023 and it was also our first time in Florence and Italy. Not only we were very well received by the staff, but also they gave us valuable information on most beautiful tourist destinations and most delicious restaurants in Florence. It's a small town and there aren't that many public transportation, hence it is hard to navigate for new comers. That is why, if you have any doubts about your destinations or your are seeking exciting sights that only locals know, ask the staff or the manager. The rooms of the hotel were upstanding. The breakfast was delicious and the service was impeccable! My husband and I have been married for 35 years and it's rare that we get overwhelmed by such beautiful experience. If you plan to visit Florence, stay at the Hotel Giglio. You will get your money's worth.

        Great family run hotel in a perfect location for all the sites. Everything within walking distance and/or bus stop around the corner. Rooms had all we needed, Breakfast was delicious, lots of options made with care. The best part of the hotel are the owners, Marco and Manuela! Such kind people making our stay so much better. Marco took us outside to point out best routes for what we wanted to see which was perfect and helped us not to get lost! They were always anxious to hear if we had a good day exploring and gave us best tips to see museums and other attractions. Thank you to Roberto who greeted us in the evening. Always felt safe in this hotel. Would highly recommend and if we come back this is where we will stay!

        We loved our stay at Hotel Giglio! The location is superb, only about 8 minute walk to the Duomo. Spacious rooms, beautiful bathroom, and the service can’t be beat! Marco and his wife went above and beyond to help us out, even running out in the rain to figure out hailing a taxi when the road was closed. Would love to stay here again!! Thank you for the amazing stay.

        Spacious, clean room; friendly staff ready to help; good breakfast for many tastes. Suggest updating bathrooms soon. N.B.: not appropriate for mobility impaired—there are some steps up, even to get to the tiny elevator to the next floor where the hotel is.

        The owners of the hotel a family and they are also working in it. Two brothers and their family does everything. They are very kind and helpful. They have smiling face. Location is very good. You can walk to main places and train stations also. Breakfast is good. Rooms are very clean. Thanks again Roberto and Marco brothers and their family. We will back again.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
