        Great location but the rooms were small and the walls are very thin. It also is not convenient that you have to return the room key to front desk every time you leave. Even though the location was prime I would not stay here again.

        we went during cherry blossoms season, when it's cold at night and really hot during the day. the hotel A/C only had heating available, and the room was very warm in the afternoon. the room doors also didn't have modern card-based entry, and you had to drop off/pick up your keys at the front desk, which was kind of inconvenient and weird.

        The hotel is conveniently located nearby Karasuma Oike station, which made it easy for us to go sightseeing. Also, there were lots of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance which is always great. The room we got was pleasant and spotless with all the basic amenities provided. Definitely worth the cost. Have to add that the staff was the highlight of our stay. They were all friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. Also, thank you to Takahashi-san for being a delight to talk to and all the staff for making this stay a warm, pleasant one.

        Great location but the rooms were small and the walls are very thin. It also is not convenient that you have to return the room key to front desk every time you leave. Even though the location was prime I would not stay here again.

        Clean rooms in a great location. I'm taking a star off because they have a really strange policy where you need to check the key with the front desk and ask for it back when you return. Very weird and unnecessary.

        The place is old and run down what furniture from the 70s find the breakfast is truly terrible and lackluster you get a small piece of salad one slice of toast a slice of ham and a slice of American cheese and that's all otherwise you have to pay to upgrade your meal which is also very disappointing genuinely would not recommend
