Amazing location. Spent 4 nights and loved having markets, shops and key wards/districts right on our doorstep and walkable. Rooms well sized for 3 of us. Only negative (and such a minor one) was the lack of a good coffee machine for a latte/flat white at breakfast (only the percolated kind).

This hotel is in an amazing location - so close to everything and in the middle of a shopping mall with great restaurants, souvenir shops, coffee, bars, Family Marts and 7 Elevens, etc. The room is a good size for Japanese hotel rooms, which are normally quite small. The staff are lovely and helpful and accomodating. They let us store our luggage all day on our check out day which was so helpful. The beds were comfy, the facilities were clean and easy to use, would definitely stay again, would recommend.

Loved that there is eel rice for breakfast!! Unlimited and delicious!! The location of the hotel is the best! It’s located in the center of shopping area kyoto! The only downside is that there is no parking space so we need to park our car at the nearest coin park (around 5mins walk) and it costs us 3000¥ per car! The rooms is pretty well designed and its clean and well maintained There is a bathtub in the bathroom so we get to soak our feet at night after all the shopping!

Location, location, location. The best feature of this property is its location in the pedestrian shopping area. Considering its busy location, it was quiet. Save your shopping for Kyoto unless you're looking for "Name" brand items such as Gucci, etc... Breakfast in this hotel offered both American and Japenese food. I especially liked their French Toast and thick sliced bacon. The rooms were a tad on the small size but that's the norm in Japan.

The rooms are pretty big considering most Japanese hotels have almost 0 floor space. Amazing location! Great amenities like their manga room/ laundry room. The only reason that this does not get 5 stars is because the beds and the pillows were hard. While I am a firm bed sleeper. This felt a bit too much like sleeping on a floor. The pillows were also extremely firm and if you are a firm bed sleeper you are likely team squishy pillow. I had to use my neck pillow I brought with me to help me sleep.
