I loved this place! Majority of the staff/management were young adults and they were dressed very casually which I thought was cool. I loved the free beer that was offerred to guests every day at 6pm. The food selection was limited but I didnt mind that one bit since it was a small hotel. I stayed in what was a shared room with 3 other girls but it was always just me and 1 other girl. Majority of the guests were of course tourists especially backpackers. There were some Americans and Europeans that were a bit too loud and I found it rude considering we were in a mostly residential area. I found it annoying that they thought they could smoke at the table outside when there was a smoking area only a few feet away. But hey to each their own! I will definitely come back to stay here again! Its perfect for single/couples and maybe a small group of friends. Wouldn't recommend to families though.

We stayed here whilst visiting Tokyo for 2 days. The staff were very helpful, including organising baggage transfer without any hastle. The room was very clean and had everything we needed - including good air conditioning! The location was good in a quiet residential area with only a 10 minute walk from bars and restaurants. There was also a good communal kitchen and social area with a free pool table. Nezu metro station was also around 10 minutes walk away.

Too much dust and it doesn't seem to be cleaning properly. I was informed that 6-7 pm is free-beer time, and when I went to a cafeteria, he told me to tell the information desk because they are going to buy it for me. The information desk said I can just have it at the cafeteria, but why are you doing this?

Stay: 8/14-8/17 Room: 217 Highlights: Cleanliness, AC in room, quiet neighborhood Women’s shower 3rd floor, 3 shower booths each with double locks. There are two hair dryers. Toilet on every floor with bidet. I never had to wait to use the toilet or the shower. Unisex lavatory (single sink) on every floor. Rooftop terrace is closed when it rains. 😢 So unfortunately I could not access it during my stay. Free rental available for items like curling iron, chargers, umbrella, luggage scale, yoga equipment, instax camera (pay separate for films), Nintendo switch (only chip for animal crossing included, bring your own chips if you want) and more!!!! Free beer 6-7pm. The hotel is a bit of a walk from Ueno Keisei station. It’s not far, but you will get a lot of steps in. And you pass the entrance to Ueno Zoo on your way. If I’m in Tokyo again I will definitely consider this hotel again!
