A nice hotel, we were upgraded from the Queen to King which was a lovely surprise for the trip. Since we were coming into New York by train, I called in to see if we would be able to check in early, and reception took care of us. It was truly a godsend to be able to get into the room to drop off our belongings before seeing the play that night. The room itself was pretty small, but nicely decorated (there was an animal-print theme going on that was tastefully done and not overwhelming. I'm personally not a fan, but can admit it was nicely themed). My favorite thing about the room was actually the bathroom. It was a sectioned-off portion of the room, where the dividing walls were entirely glass. You couldn't see through it from either side. The bed... I have mixed feelings about. It didn't seem bad, but for whatever reason we found ourselves tossing and turning a lot. The quality of sleep we got wasn't too great, but I'm not sure if it was because of the bed, the room, or something else entirely.

Disappointed, far from what is being adverised. Poor hospitality. Definitely not worth the price. Usually I'm not the person who complains, but my stay was quite disappointing, so if this review might help to save others from disappointment too, I'll voice it. First, there's no consistency in customer service, no standard. While the staff at the moment of my checkout was somewhat nice, for the most part during my check-in and throughout my stay, the reception staff has not been welcoming or accommodating. It didn't feel like hotel, it felt like I'm coming in to rent the room because the hospitality piece is missing. Second, the rooms are far from what is advertised. I felt scammed when I saw the room in-person. Would encourage the hotel to either change the images to match what the guests actually get or match the standard you advertise with all the proper hotel-branded garments on the bed, mini bar full of snacks and drinks, and rooms with a fresh look. The hooks were crooked, there were stains on the sink marble, the sheets were not ironed well, and the room had a smell of an old worn out wood. Also wanted to note that I kindly requested a room with good lighting, but ended up having my blinds closed at all times because there was a construction happening right in front of my window - waking up seeing a group of construction workers staring at you leave no room for privacy.

Loved this hotel! Although room was small, which is expected for NYC, the ambience and vibe of the hotel was amazing. Downstairs restaurant and bar were a great place to hang with friends and the views from the rooftop bar was gorgeous. Also loved that rooms came with robes… just small things that made it seem more luxury. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed for three nights. Our room was small, with two queen beds, but that is to be expected in midtown. The location was very convenient to so many things. Both Penn Station, Grand Central Station and Time Square. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Eugene was very nice, efficient and got things done. Rooftop bar had a great vibe and view. I would highly recommend this as an affordable hotel with amazing location.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I feel compelled to share my ordeal to spare others from the same distress. Firstly, cleanliness was nonexistent. The room was filthy, and it was evident that the cleaning staff had not bothered to do their job. I found myself questioning the hygiene standards of this establishment. The staff's behavior was downright rude. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, there was an utter lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. It seems like customer service is a foreign concept to them. To add insult to injury, there was no hot water during my entire stay. Taking a shower became a dreadful experience, and the hotel's inability to provide such a basic amenity is unacceptable. Overall, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It was a regrettable decision on my part, and I hope others heed this warning to avoid the utter disappointment and frustration I endured.
