        We arrived to Hotel Hermitage to stay for 4 nights. When we arrived we were told that there was a leak in our bathtub so we couldn’t shower that day. They gave us a free glass of wine and we thought “oh well”. The next day after showering the water was leaking everywhere around the sink and base of shower. We mopped it up thinking it was just from us showering. We got home hours later and the flood almost reached our bedroom. It was everywhere. We told front desk and they said they couldn’t repair it until the next day, but if they did repair it, we would need to be out of the room for 8 hours. We did as they asked which is hard in 40 degree heat and not being able to shower. It was unpleasant. We got home to the following MESS (see attached pictures). We went to front desk where the lady was nice but she was working alone. So they had the cook go clean our room floor. It was absolutely disgusting. We asked for a manager and she informed me the manager would contact me the next day. We tried all day to get a new room or a Manager and nothing. Even the day after, no manager. Nothing was given to us. They “allowed” us to sit on the rooftop for a free glass of wine (I’d rather a bathroom) and we waited 20 minutes without being served. If you want horrible service but a beautiful rooftop patio, this is the place. It’s a stunning patio with grumpy servers who barely come to serve you. It was our second time there. The hotel had SO much potential but poor customer service in the event of a problem. This hotel was very expensive. I’m so disappointed. All in all nothing was ever resolved. No manager ever contacted us. No compensation. We couldn't wait to get to Bologna to get a shower.

        The People Make the Place. You can have the best location, but if the staff is not great, it just becomes the worst. My experience in the Hotel Hermitage has been incredible. The staff, specifically Paolo and Federica were incredible and made my stay here absolutely gorgeous. This hotel has the best view, best location and the best staff. They made this hotel 100x better with their willingness and availability. Would always recommend and will come back again. They got us incredible rooms, impossible to get restaurant reservations and always with a smile. Cant ask for more. Grazie mille forever.

        It's a good hotel to spend a night. Convenient location and great view from the restaurant. It's not fancy or elegant, but it's nice. It is noisy at night since it is right in front of Ponte Vecchio.

        We had a great experience at Hermitage. The Service was great and the breakfast was delicious. Only thing bringing this down to 4 stars is that the electrics is Italian style, not European generic so our international adaptor plugs did not work. Also the Lift is extremely small and was out of service for a portion of our stay but luckily not when we were moving our luggage. The view of Ponte Vecchio from the sitting room by reception is exceptional. Great location.

        My wife and I chose this hotel 20 years ago for our honeymoon. The hotel was elegant and the staff was warm. You can't beat the location and the dinner recs! We loved it, so we decided to return to Florence for our 20th and wanted to book it again. This visit was even better than the first! We arrived after a delayed flight. They were able to squeeze us in at the rooftop restaurant that's phenomenal! Also gifted a super good bottle of wine (twice!) to help in celebrating the anniversary! The room was nice and spacious. It was a great stay! Extra thanks to Anna Lisa and all the staff! The Hermitage is an all time favorite!

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.
          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

          Modification and Reschedule Policy
