        Close to railway and coach station but taxi ride away from anything else. Big hotel with only one 2 person lift which is badly in need of repair. Staff are not exactly welcoming. Check in slow and unwelcoming. Facilities are poor compared to other Ibis hotels. The whole place is in desperate need of a refurb. Rooms are tatty with curtains hanging off the runners. Breakfast wasn't up to much so chose to go somewhere else. Far better value. Would not recommend unless you are desperate for somewhere to sleep.

        Honestly shocking. The room was dirty and the reception refused to change it or get it cleaned by HK. Mold in the shower , TV not working , window not opening and hair all over the place. Please add more money and get a good place instead.

        Ugh. This was the worst hotel I stayed at in Morocco. Felt unsafe because balcony door was unlocked when I arrived and would not lock. Bathroom door would not shut. We were offered another room that still had wet tile at 10 pm. Stay far away! My friends had stayed here previously and they noted that is no longer maintained . My room looked NOTHING like the featured photo. It barely had towels. The mattress was acceptable if you don’t mind feeling like you don’t want your feet to touch the floor 😒

        The worst IBIS experience in Morocco. During my recent visit to Morocco, I stayed in three IBIS hotels across Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakech. Unfortunately, the Marrakech IBIS turned out to be a disappointing experience, far below the standards of other IBIS hotels. The team lacked the necessary skills to manage the hotel efficiently. Despite being a member with supposed priority check-in benefits, the staff made everyone wait for more than half an hour for no apparent reason. The elevator was old and hazardous, reminiscent of WW1. It closed and opened unpredictably, posing a risk to guests. Additionally, it frequently malfunctioned, forcing guests to carry their luggage to the third floor. The uneven lift and floor levels added to the danger. The room was poorly maintained and dirty. The shower room was covered in mold, the bed frame had sharp edges, the room temperature was uncomfortably high, and the air conditioner only made noise without providing any cooling. The table was visibly unstable, showing signs of poor maintenance. Surprisingly, the entire hotel shared just one hairdryer among more than 70 rooms, a situation that seemed more like a joke than a professional hotel service. Safety was also a concern, as the back emergency door remained open overnight without reason. This lack of security measures allowed anyone to enter the hotel without a card or screening. Adding to the frustration, guests were not allowed to use the open space on the ground floor for dining if they had outside food. This experience contradicts the standards expected from a chain brand like IBIS. While some might argue about the affordability and location, it's essential for a recognized brand to uphold consistent standards. For those planning to visit Marrakech, I strongly advise against choosing this IBIS location. Many have shared similar negative experiences, and it's wise to invest your money and time in a better accommodation option.

        Apart from the building, a hotel is primarily a place created by employees under the supervision of the Manager. A hotel that is part of an alliance (in this case Accor) is obliged to comply with the rules of this alliance - and, in addition - to obey the mediocre local culture, whose main purpose is to reduce the value of a foreign Guests. It is unacceptable to steering situations in such a way as to prove to the customer at every step, that the hotel is more important than a Guest. An front-desk employee with access to a computer is a "god and decision-maker" rather than a client who - indirectly - employs this particular employee because of his staying at your place. My friend is your guest right now. You canceled his stay at the paid promotional rate and made him pay the full cost of a new room - because you did. You DO NOT honor the All GOLD status, which shows customer loyalty in the hotel alliance - because it is (do you even know that GOLD members has free early check-in or you didn't spent your time to read terms and conditions of All program?). GOLD customers have benefits that you DO NOT accept (ignoring enough?) and are indifferent to. But well - a Guest in a foreign country, who doesn't know the local law, won't do anything and has to accept "the dance to which you play the music yourself". Don't you think it's kind stupid of you? This shows first of all how little value the Moroccan culture of treating the customer has - to make him pay as much as possible and has no value in your eyes, apart from the customer's money. With all due respect, as a PLATINUM member of the All network, I intend to publicize your hotel's case on online forums so that you have as few guests as possible in the future. Perhaps I will come to you myself someday, but be sure that it will be with a hidden camera, so that I can condemn such behavior in the form of publishing your treatment of customers - for the benefit of future guests. (Oh, it's breaking the rules of you? So shame - it's same as you do everyday). Better just think what are you doing in business meaning.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
