Liked - Great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings and hikes. Staff was very friendly, very good breakfast with lots of choices, comfy room and beds. Disliked · We would have appreciated to have more storage space (when travelling several weeks) but it is often the case in Japan. Jacuzzis we not working in the public onsen but it was because of other customers that pressed the emergency button. As a personal opinion, I would very much prefer that relaxing, zen hotels such as this one were adults only.

We had a room with a private Onsen and Mountain View- the room was amazing and very spacious. The Onsen was ideal and the room was very stylish - I would probably have preferred the river view as the “mountain view” was really just some trees and the car park. Only negative was the fact that there was a builders yard right outside the hotel on the mountain side - rather spoilt the ambiance but really only a minor issue. The whole hotel was very stylish and the bar restaurant area lovely. The breakfast was very extensive and catered for everyone. DON’T walk to Gora station unless you like steep steps!

If you’re staying at this hotel and arriving in Gora station, make sure you arrange for transport (we were not made aware of this by the hotel). The walk down to the hotel is through a narrow slippery steep trail in the woods. Best thing about the hotel is the spacious private onsen in the suite. Service, decor.. ets does not give 5 stars. 4 stars at best. Room cleanliness is not what we got used to in japan. Blonde hairs all over shower shampoo and conditioner (we have black hair). Everything is by schedule and rules (i.e restaurant is empty but we’re still expected to book a slot a day in advance. We also have to confirm housekeeping time at check in. You have to stand in a “check out” queue(????) for checkout even though wasn’t that busy. Concierge’s service (if any) not at all a 5 star standard. When you ask for assistance they will tell you can do it by yourself, sometimes you would like to have basic assistance in things from the hotel when you want to enjoy your time and peace of mind.

Premium top-notch service. The location can be hard to access by public transit, but the hotel's free shuttle service makes up for that. First, they offer free pick-up and drop-off at Odawara Station. This shuttle runs every 2 hours, so it's best to check the schedule ahead of time as it's listed on their website. Second, they also provide free on-call shuttle service from/to Gora station. This is a life saver since the road from/to Gora is very hilly and have narrow roads. You can call the hotel through whatsapp and they'll be there in 5 minutes. The rooms were super clean and relaxing as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakone. I wouldn't expect much for the view.

This hotel has a cool vibe, not so traditional and strict with rules for their onsen. Nothing mentioned abt tattoos or camera in the public bath. Has an outdoor foot bath. And men/women open bath that u can use with swimsuit. Rooms are nice and spacious. The river sound was loud but nice as white noise.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
