First impressions modern boutique feel hotel . However first impressions didn’t last very long … Service seemed a bit indifferent. Most staff seemed to be on their mobile phones all the time as if it was a challenge to get them off these and serve us . Very evident in bar where we could not get served because staff were eyes down in phone and not looking out to customers. Breakfast hours not conducive with a modern hotel. 7am far too late for service to begin so we could not make use of service we paid to have in our hotel rate . Room was lovely so we kinda just hid in there for our trip .

My stay at Hotel Indigo Shanghai was exceptional. The hotel combined modern comfort with a touch of local charm. The Chinese restaurant on the third floor was a culinary delight, offering delicious dishes. While not all staff spoke English, their friendliness and helpfulness, especially in arranging taxis, were commendable. The bar's view was a standout, providing a breathtaking panorama of Shanghai. It's a great choice for both convenience and experience. Highly recommended.

Great views of the Bund, large room with eclectic furnishings that were showing some wear and tear and had cleanliness issues, including mold in the shower area. Good breakfast buffet included in the rate. The deal breaker was the nonexistent customer service from the front facing staff with their complete and utter disregard towards guests and their needs. This “let it rot attitude” and language barrier, where the staff speak limited, if any English and clearly can’t be bothered to learn basic words used in the hospitality industry makes the Shanghai Indigo on the Bund a property worth skipping.

Started off with a great experience, rooms are nice and big. Highly recommend getting a room with a view of the river. The light show is lovely at night. English is not easy here and the location is good for families wanting to explore the river area. During my time here the tv speaker was broken so everything was distorted, the blind fell down on the shower and the room unfortunately smelt like cigarettes. Nice enough hotel though. The view from the bar upstairs is amazing on another note. Breakfast caters for both westerns and locals.

Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms starting to age, looks like spring cleaning not performed for years and lack of night shift staff. No bell boys at 6am to help with our luggages. Rooms had dirt spots and breakfast spread is large but menu remained unchanged and quality of food has gone out the window. Went to McD after breakfast for a quick bite. 😂

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
