Visited September 2023. In the centre of Almaty the hotel is in easy reach of most of the attractions that the city has to offer. If shopping is your bag then all you have to do is step out of the hotel and you'll find yourself in the middle of things. The hotel looks mid-century from the outside but is very modern inside. Our room was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Two chairs which is essential for couples sharing, with the added bonus of a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Not all rooms had balconies so we appreciated the additional space to unwind and enjoy an early cocktail. Super bathroom although the toilet was awkwardly position making it difficult to sit perpendicular. I found myself sitting at an angle. A buffet breakfast was included with local and international foods accompanied by several soft drinks and that all important coffee machine. A very nice hotel , we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Almaty, with easy access to key attractions, shopping centers, and public transportation. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained. The staff at Hotel Kazzhol were friendly, attentive. The breakfast buffet was good.

Generally hotel is excellently located. Rooms are iffy. The first room we were given the ac was making a whining sound. The technician said all acs make that sound. It is impossible to sleep in that sound. Rooks are very tight in space. The next room we were moved to the split ac worked well for the first night. On the second night it started leaking water! Thankfully it was time to check out. But when we came back they upgraded us to a Premium Room which was superb! So, go for the higher category rooms would be my suggestion. Front Office staff speak quite good English and are always willing to help. Very polite and cooperative girls. So also is the FOM. Buffet brekky is good enough. Restaurant is also good. Dine in service is good. Pool is in the basement looked good. Spa is lousy. So it's a mixed bag hotel. Checkout a few rooms before settling in.

Excellent location for pedestrian area, Ascension Cathedral and park. Hotel is bright, clean, comfortable bed and very good shower. Quite a wide breakfast selection and nice little bar area.

I don’t like the hotel it have small lobby small wall ,no service but the room it’s clean but they didn’t bring tea or coffee all your staying only when you arrive and the breakfast not have many choices and not delicious also when i aske more blanket the said don’t have😒

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
