        Spacious room and clean, with a selection of amenities to be taken at the Lobby when you need. Location is good, connected directly to the Kyoto train station. The only area that needs a major improvement is the attitudes of the hotel staff - the hotel manager (an older man) and the staff at the check in/out counter were very rude, impatient and curt, behaving as if guests were imposing on their time. They are certainly not welcoming of guests with their attitude. Will not recommend any families to stay here as the staff do not seem to tolerate children.

        Hotel's old, dirty carpet, no USB ports in room. But location's perfect right across from Kyoto Station. Services were excellent. Very helpful staffs. Even a mundane task as helping ppl in/out the elevators was a kind and caring gesture. The only hotel that allows AC temp. to set below 20C!

        Room was great, but thin windows could hear cars perfectly and we stayed on 12th floor. Room had a brilliant view of the hills around us. Location was great as it was next to Kyoto station so brilliant for trains and subways.

        Just across from the trainstation and attached to the shopping centre this hotel is in the perfect location. With a ‘mini bar’ of toiletries by the lifts and access straight into the shopping centre this hotel is worth a stay. The rooms are a bit dated but with so much going on in Kyoto I hardly spent any time in it.

        Very convenient hotel esp I took limousine bus from KIX directly stopping in front of the hotel. Nice buffet breakfast and comfy rooms. I recommend this hotel for convenience even if you take Haruka Train to Kyoto Station, it is just across the street. There are restaurants right down the basement B1 and Avanti department store is just next to it. Super convenient.
