The hotel's location near Kyoto's historic district is great, but it's a bit distant from the main transportation hubs. Although there is an underground station nearby, it doesn't directly connect to Kyoto Station where most trains depart. On the bright side, the rooms are exceptionally spacious compared to the Japanese average. An added bonus is the onsen in the basement. The staff is friendly. If you don't mind a 30-minute walk to Kyoto Station and desire proximity to the historic district, this hotel is a suitable choice.

Clean rooms for a very affordable price. Coin laundry is available and staff are available 24/7. Bus stops and trains are within a 5-7min. Walk and convenience stores within a 3-4 minute walk.

Great hotel at a really brilliant price. The hotel room itself was very spacious and had traditional tatame mats but with Western mattresses which was nice. This hotel has onsens split by gender with there being an added bonus for men, a small two person sauna which gets to an almost absurd heat (82 Celsius,yes celsius). Every night you can go down to the kitchen and have a free alcoholic drink, this was a nice way to start our nights and we would sit sipping a beer, gin or sake and plan where we wanted to go. The location is great just a short walk to the Keihan main line station of Kiyomizu, which is one stop away from the popular Gion District - but if you wanted to stay near the hotel there are plenty of restaurants around as well as a family mart across the road

We rented a Japanese style room for a week. The hotel is a 10-15 mins walk from the main Gion district, 25-30 mins from Kyoto station (or ~20 mins by bus). The service from all of the staff was top notch. They were polite and attentive to our needs. The breakfast buffet had a nice spread of traditional Japanese cuisine. I was surprised to see a wide selection of alcohol in the happy hour. We give it 4 stars as we think the cleanliness can still be improved.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
