Just amazing. Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is very good, around 5 minutes walk to the central station, and in a very beautiful area just in front of one of the biggest temples. The room was good and the bed was very comfortable. Service was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly and they speak English very well, which is not very common in Japan. There are also 2 public baths, one big and one small one, and they switch every day for men and women. The big one is especially nice, also with an outdoors area that was very relaxing. Will definitely stay again when I go back to Kyoto, and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Travelled with 2x small children and loved our stay here. The rooms are a good size and comfortable, staff are friendly and accommodating, extra towels/pillows are provided if requested. The public baths were so nice and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which had a great variety of food to choose from. The location is also fantastic, just across from an impressive temple and easy walking distance to Kyoto Station.

Location is great. The view of the temple from the room was amazing. The room/bathroom was nicely sized and could fit a group of 3 people easily. They have two bath houses which they switch the gender of every day. One of the bathhouses is very small with only one. The other was large with an outside and inside bath and a cold bath too.
