Stayed here for three nights while visiting Kyoto. Great location right downtown. Gojo station is just a four minute walk south and catching a bus to and from the hotel is a breeze. Room itself is more than spacious enough for one to two people, and it has all the amenities you could need for a travel hotel. The shower also has the strongest water pressure I've seen in a hotel, although it is a bit tricky to use because it runs off of the sink faucet. Still, I'm not complaining. Staff were super friendly at check-in. I brought my bag before check-in and they held onto it until I got back and even brought it up to my room for me in advance. There's a coffee shop downstairs attached to the hotel with cheap breakfast, and they'll even bring your order up to your room if you call beforehand. All in all, great budget hotel for a trip. Highly recommended.

Foreign tourists are returning, and the fall foliage season is in full swing, so we were able to stay there at a low price despite the fact that accommodation costs have risen considerably since the coronavirus pandemic. A little over 10,000 yen including Komeda Coffee breakfast. Basically, it's just for sleeping...so it's spacious enough. It would have been nice if the bed height was higher and the unit bath had a temperature adjustment function. Was it because there were no noisy foreign tourists staying there? It was nice and quiet.
