        A bit dingy and the shower in our room had very little pressure and the tub can only be sat in by a child. Room was clean and there is wifi of course. Surprisingly good selection at the breakfast buffet. Should be cheaper but it does the job.

        Very dated oldstyle hotel near central Zagreb. Stayed for almost a whole week. Food is basic, no choice at meal times in restaurant. Not too many staff, those who are there are generally unhappy & unhelpful. Stayed in October & hotel unable or unwilling to turn on heating or provide extra blankets. Rooms were freezing at night time. Rooms are dated. TV didn't work most times. The bathroom shower is located in a very small bath with very high sides, difficult to get in or out & very slippy when wet. Roomservice do not make beds or clean during your stay but empty bins. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Bar in lobby tends not to be staffed & is closed from early evening. Reception staff are not nice or helpful. Roof in lobby area leaked badly inside during a rainstorm. Would not visit or stay again & would not recommend.

        Interesting hotel badly in need of repair. Yugoslav socialist nostalgia, nothing's been changed since. Ordering a day menu can be tricky, the food is never as it looks under the glass display. Very kind staff. With all the +++ and - - -, I like the place.

        Appalling booked a double room on arrival key given went to room to find it was a single. On going back to reception, apologies made new room given, then dried blood on walls lampshade burnt table room filthy at 12pm midnight and hotel full nothing else to be done. Front desk apologies in the morning. However, this blood, etc. Has been there for some considerable time how house keeping not picked this up. Rooms are very very basic ac didn't work, no water kettle or anything, and breakfast is free for a reason, the table cloths had hair on them if your offered room 318 please check it before taking stuff in. Also, despite the disgusting nature of the room, expect to pay full price with no offer of discount

        The staff is very nice and polite. This is the only upside of this hotel. The location is ok (half an hour of walking to the city center). The hotel looks very old-fashioned (80s style), and in desperate need of a redesign (and a renovation). The rooms are not very good. There is mold in the bathroom and the carpet desperately needs a cleaning. Also, the A/C is not working very good (it is extremely hot in the room, even though the temperature is set to 10 degrees Celsius))
