        Beautiful small hotel located right by a train and bus station. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants, attractions. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms clean, nice comfortable bathtub. There’s free juice/coffee on the lobby. We left an Amazon fire stick on the hotel room and they coordinated and shipped it to our Tokyo hotel. Great service, definitely recommend it.

        Gorgeous smaller hotel. Rooms are a good size for Japan and the decor is beautiful. Beds are extremely comfortable. There is coffee and tea available for most of the day which is a bonus! Close to metro station as well and also a walkable distance from a lot of attractions. If I ever find myself back in Kyoto I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

        Gorgeous hotel in Kyoto right across the street from Higashiyama Station. The staff are kind and can speak English. There is familymart, petit fresco and a 24hr coin laundry within less than 5min walk. The rooms are clean, beautifully designed and spacious. We were able to leave our luggage in the hotel lobby prior to check-in and when we returned to the hotel at the check-in time, the staff had already placed our luggage in our room! They were also able to kindly organise luggage delivery for us when we checked out. Would love to come back and stay here again!!

        Beautiful small hotel located right by a train and bus station. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants, attractions. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms clean, nice comfortable bathtub. There’s free juice/coffee on the lobby.         Gorgeous smaller hotel. Rooms are a good size for Japan and the decor is beautiful. Beds are extremely comfortable. There is coffee and tea available for most of the day which is a bonus!         Of the five hotels we stayed in Japan this was the most disappointing and most expensive. The location is good but our room was small and had to move because of an unpleasant smell in the shower. The breakfast bar was dark and we felt uncomfortable sitting there. Some advice on where to buy supplies would have been so helpful (Fresco Supermarket and Le Bac au Sable opposite were great). The staff were friendly but we found the lack of amenities such as a washing machine quite frustrating. I guess Kyoto is bound to be different and more expensive - we recommend Hotel Intergate in Hiroshima and in Okayama the Hotel Koraku. Stayed five nights.

        Small but well appointed hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. A couple staff speak great English. Larger than usual rooms and location very close to conbini, a delicious bakery, and metro T10.
