        It’s an affordable hotel but with poor service and below average cleanliness. Unlike some other reviews my room did not smell of cigarettes but a few days the hallways did have a smoking scent. The reception has limited hours but the workers are kind and there is a machine for check in and check out. You have to checkout by 10 AM. Room service is only once every seven days unfortunately. For an around three-star hotel the room was clean enough but there notable dust on the edges of the floor. In summary, it’s a good budget hotel but if you have the money just go for a 4 or 5 star hotel.

        I enjoyed staying here 4 nights in Kyoto. The location was ok although alittle quiet the area. The staff were fine. Room clean and wifi good. My room was spacious enough for a single room with a bathroom and small bath. There was a kettle and a fridge. There is laundry facilities down near reception.
