        I just spent two nights at the Hotel Lord Byron and had a wonderful time. It is a bit away from the centre of Rome but the neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, so for some guests this will be an advantage. It's also very close to the Etruscan Museum, Villa Borghese and the National Museum of Modern Art. The hotel is really pretty and interesting, with unusual art work everywhere, and really classy decor. The staff are delightful - so helpful and kind. The food is also lovely. The breakfasts had a huge variety of excellent food. The tasting menu at dinner was innovative, fun and delicious. Lastly, the bedroom was very nice and the bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. I had a great time and hope to return again soon.

Returning to Hotel Lord Byron after two decades was, in itself, an incredible journey down memory lane. We loved our stay then, but what we experienced this time surpassed all our expectations.         UPDATE: I thank you General Manager Claudia Gallo for your response and would like to respond to it to set some things straight so that any future patron has the proper knowledge before booking. 1st. We didn't "enter your structure or stayed with you" because we were robbed of all of our belongings on our first day in Italy and had to emergentely fly home due to thieves stealing our 18 month olds life saving epinephrine pens. 2nd. If your "customer care staff is available 24 hours in order to give all needed assistance to your guests" why was I unable to reach anyone. Furthermore upon return home, why did it take over a day for my credit card company to reach anyone at the hotel? FACT: I waited on hold with the credit card company who tried for 45 minutes to reach anyone at the hotel without success. The credit card company tried multiple times to reach a representative at the hotel and it took 1 whole day later and multiple attempts. FACT: Multiple attempts were made by myself as well as my credit card company to cancel booking prior to arrival without success. The credit card company was conveniently only able to reach a staff member at hotel lord byron AFTER our stay would have been over. FACT: the hotel asked for a police report in which was provided to you and you still refused to refund. Claudia I would refrain from writing, that you "assumed" we lived through a difficult moment as anyone getting robbed of all their belongings their 18 month old childs life saving medication, and not even having a clean diaper to put your child in after being robbed of your stuff is a brutal , violating , horrific experience for anyone. Not only will we NEVER give Lord Byron "one more opportunity for a future stay in your Eternal City" We hope that this helps people avoid staying at your hotel in your "eternal city" of crime. ....... 1st POST: Disheartening experience. On our very first full day in Italy our rental car was broken into (glass window shattered - all over our babies car seat) and all of our belongings stolen. The thieves took ALL of our luggage ALL of our babies luggage we were left with nothing but our bathing suits and flip flops on. We didn’t even have a dry diaper to put on our son. We could no longer stay in Italy due to our emergency need to get our 18 month old his LIFE SAVING MEDICATION since that was stolen. We filled a police report and tried to cancel this hotel multiple times without any help. We filed an unsuccessful claim with our chase credit card to get a refund since we never were able to check in to this hotel. The hotel even asked for a police report from the chase credit card which we provided them and yet they still would not refund us. My husband and I were in a dire need to get our son home as his safety was our number one priority and this hotel just totally failed us. Absolutely disgusted with this hotel and chase credit card as we booked directly with them.

        My wife and I spent six nights at the Hotel Lord Byron for our honeymoon. I want to write as honest a review as possible, which means I will be discussing some negatives, but in the end it was still absolutely a five star experience. First the hotel itself and the rooms: The Hotel Lord Byron is in a very cool building that I believe used to be a private residence. When they converted it to a hotel, they very obviously sparred no expense in the design and furnishings. The rooms are truly filled with marble, polished hardwoods, nice upholstery, and beautiful wallpaper. Our room was a Panoramic Suite, and though the bathroom was not as big as some of the ones shown on the website, the room itself was awesome with a great view. However, here is where I will share one negative: upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the rooms in the Hotel Lord Byron are well loved. The marble in the bathroom shows a little discoloration here and there. People have obviously bumped into the woodwork a couple of times. Specifically, our room clearly suffered water damage in the not too distant past. However, I think these things are all to be expected in a hotel that is not brand new. I imagine it would cost a fortune to replace damaged furnishings given the quality of all the materials. This being said, after a couple hours in the rooms, you stop seeing these issues and begin to really enjoy how fabulous everything is. The service: the Hotel Lord Byron has the best service I have ever had at a hotel. The staff are warm, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and always there if you need anything. Need a cab? They’ll call it for you and it will arrive in like 1 minute most times. Need a restaurant recommendation and reservation? Done. Need anything in your room like more wine glasses, fresh towels, or a bottle opener? It’s brought up in a couple of minutes. They come and tidy your room sometimes twice a day it seems. It was so refreshing after a long day of site seeing to come back to a tidy room. They even organized our things for us! They make you feel like royalty and I cannot commend the staff enough for how great they made us feel. Lastly, our grasp of the Italian language is not so great (something we want to work on before we come again), so it was a relief that just about everyone at the hotel speaks a bit of English, especially at the front desk. Location: the hotel is located in the Parioli neighborhood of Rome, north of the Villa Borghese and the city center. Are there more centrally located hotels relative to the major sites? Sure! But will those hotels also grant you a respite from the throngs of people and noisy nightlife after a long day of site seeing? Not as much as the Hotel Lord Byron! The neighborhood was clean, quiet, and seemingly very safe. I walked around at all hours of the day and night and had no issues. Additionally, it’s not so far away from everything that a cab ride to the major sites is too expensive. Generally everything was about a 8-15€ cab ride away. The hotel restaurant: I wrote a separate review of the new Relais Le Jardin restaurant on its Google page, but I will reiterate here that the experience at Relais Le Jardin (the hotel restaurant’s gourmet concept available on weekends I believe) was one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had in my life. Food and service were amazing. It’s not cheap, especially if you do the tasting menu, but when in Rome splurge a little and you will be rewarded. Overall, this was a five star experience at a five star hotel. When we come to Rome again, we will be staying at the Hotel Lord Byron.

        It is not your normal Hyatt! It is worse! The Hotel is in a desert, nothing nearby. It takes 5 minutes to 20 minutes to get a cab so one is always early or late to events. Don’t think that you can go for a stroll anywhere. The English language is a challenge so the staff is challenged on customer service. They just don’t get it. I stayed because I am a Hyatt member yet you would never know, no water, etc. Breakfast is very attractive, visually, but is very poor in content with wet scrambled eggs and no non-pork options. Our room had a ceiling leak and we were moved twice after that one of which was unnecessary but their Front Desk person, Jon Marco, could not understand the inconvenience. Poor Service without the smile! All of these issues were raised throughout the stay with no accommodation. They are all about the money. This Hotel is the worst Hyatt that I have ever encountered.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
          Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.
          Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.
          For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.
          The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.
          If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.
          If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.
          Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.
          Hotel Cancellation Policy
          User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.
          Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.
          User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.
          Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.
          Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.
          If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.
          In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

          Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

          Modification and Reschedule Policy
          Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.
          After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
