Our family and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was our first time travelling as a family to Mexico. This hotel did not disappoint. It is located right on 5th ave in Playa del Carmen which made it central to everything we wanted to do. The room was comfortable and clean and the patio was private and perfect place to have our morning coffee or evening drinks. The garden was beautiful, I would say enchanting and I enjoyed relaxing in the hammock under the stars. The beds were a bit hard but we were so tired by our days adventures we slept well. The rooms are also really sound insulated which is a must because it’s a vibrant loud street at night. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

We stayed at Hotel Lunata October 31, 2023 through November 2, 2023. It was a great stay. After reading all the reviews we did make sure to request a garden view which we did get and definitely cut down on the noise. If you get a room facing the main street, it will probably be very noisy and you will want eat plugs as the hotel is near two bars that turn into nightclubs. The hotel is located on 5th Avenue, which is the heart of the tourist area in Playa del Carmen. You are next to everything: museums, the beach, bars, restaurants, and all the shopping. You also have easy access to many taxis, but Playa is wonderfully walkable. So we never needed one. The hotel booked our airport shuttles as well as a tour that we went on while we stayed in Playa (extra fees of course). The rates were on par with other shuttle offers and taxis. While we wouldn’t stay again because we enjoy staying at different properties every time we visit somewhere, I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be in the heart of Playa and you want to be in a hotel that’s outside of the cookie cutter look! The staff was amazing and warm and welcoming. Helping us with our every need. I loved this little boutique hotel.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Lunata for five days in February 2023. It was my first time and his second. We had a wonderful time! The hotel was sparkling clean and the attention to detail in the decor was impeccable. The room was spacious (we stayed in a Deluxe room), the bed was firm and very comfortable, the little balcony overlooking 5th avenue was perfect for people watching and fresh air, the double doors to the balcony blocked any noise coming from the street, and the bathroom was so gorgeous and the water pressure perfect! The hospitality we received was fantastic as well! Michelle at the front desk was very informative and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Everyone at the front desk was very nice and always available to provide recommendations. All employees we interacted with from security, to maintenance, to the staff taking care of breakfast were extremely nice and hospitable too! There's even a lovely cat living in the garden. Great quality for the price we paid. We highly recommend it!

Hotel Lunata is a super cute & charming hotel right in the middle of everything in downtown Playa del Carmen. It's steps from tons of restaurants and the beach. Ivan, the concierge on duty most of our stay, was one of the nicest hotel staff people I've ever met. And, he was very cute, which was an added bonus. This was totally outside of the hotel's control, but given the location of it, some rooms may experience louder street noise than others. I traveled with two friends and we each had our own rooms. Theirs faced 5th Avenue and they said the street noise was sometimes too loud. My room faced the gorgeous backyard/courtyard of the hotel but I didn't really experience the street noise like they did. Lastly, the hotel is very reasonably priced. I don't want to leave that out. If I stayed again, I'd just ensure my room was a courtyard facing room again.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
