Recently stayed here for a work trip and generally had a pleasant experience - however, be warned that if you're trying to get *any* sleep while you're here then that could be a challenge. I was on a higher floor and consistently laid awake listening to a nearby trains blow their horns while passing for what seemed to be every hour throughout the night. If I wasn't listening to a train horn, I could easily hear nearby bars playing music until they closed in the early hours. That not enough for you? Perhaps you'll be interested in laying awake listening to the traffic below your window - particularly the parade of motorcycles that seem to just drive around and around downtown Melbourne as a group with nothing better to do at 1am. While this isn't directly an issue I have with the hotel, short of suggesting that Hotel Melby replace their windows with thicker glass, I do think it is worth noting before booking.

My husband and I had our reception here in December of 2023, we have nothing but great things to say. Not only was every single person accommodating and kind during the planning process(first time bride and had all the questions) they also made the event stress free. The day before the event they graciously upgraded us to a larger space because a dance floor was important to us and not something I thought about asking prior to booking. Special shoutout to our bartender, he was 10/10, so funny, and grooved with us while we celebrated! The food was amazing as well, was hot and cooked perfectly. The terrace was beautiful and while it was windy on the night of our wedding, we still went out there to enjoy the views. We had the best time of our lives celebrating with friends and family. We would absolutely recommend hotel Melby to anyone looking to host an event.

10 out of 10. Needless to say, the staff here especially the wonderful people at the front desk are upmost kind, accommodating and they truly go above and beyond to make your stay welcome. The hotel is modern, beautiful, spacious and in a wonderful location walking distance to anything that you need. From their rooftop bar , to the servers, everything is top notch. Will highly recommend and I am DEF staying here AGAIN. Special thanks to Lorin.

Very unusual look and feel with unfinished ceilings and exposed concrete in rooms. Very minimalistic, basic. The hotel staff called the look unique.. not the look I like. Nice views at rooftop restaurant and the staff were very nice. Expensive to park as only valet parking allowed at $25.

Stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't complain. The rooms are pretty nice and you can connect to Netflix which is great. The real selling point is the location and the rooftop restaurant and bar. Parking is valet only which is cool and they have wash and fold for extended stays. Definitely my top stay when I'm in the area.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Modification and Reschedule Policy
