First, I would just like to say that the staff is largely super friendly and helpful. However, this stay was a disaster from the start. I was a bit concerned by the reviews I had read from the last couple months and found it to mostly true. We were a group tour and we had issues in almost every room, from not being able to get into the room with the key for multiple nights to no air conditioning to paper thin walls or falling apart trim and dry rot. It seems like they cut a lot of corners in doing their recent renovation. I think they used a lot of residential products for a commercial space. As someone who supervises projects in a commercial space, they used the cheapest products possible. It was like when Dwight from the Office bought the building and cut costs starting with the toilet paper. Yes, it was that bad!!! The breakfast in the morning was chaos every day. It appeared they had too small of a space with too few kitchen staff to provide enough food for all their guests. It was like a pack of wild hyenas fighting for scraps of a dead wildebeest. Also, no pool! They say they have a pool but no one is allowed in. Also, no laundry service. It felt a bit like buying a car at the used car lot. A lot of broken promises. I do not blame the staff. Well, except the older bartender. He stiffed us on drinks, though not when an Italian came in, and was generally a grouch. Maybe he was having a bad day, but it was every night. In conclusion, to bring this to an end, I think this starts with whoever bought the hotel. Hopefully it changes but if the last few months of reviews are any sign, I have my doubts. Happy travels!

such a nice place! with wonderful staff keen on the service they offer! had a very nice dinner and drinks by the pool, clean rooms/ bathrooms and very wide common areas

The hotel has potential but was a bad experience overall. We showed up an hour and a half after check in and our room wasn't going to be ready for at least another hour if not more. We had to complain to get a room once we got there. The king size bed was actually just two doubles pushed together with one paper thin pillow per person. Plus the mattress were extremely stiff. The air conditioning didn't really cool the room off either. The breakfast was not very good either. And the worst part we book this hotel especially for the pool but it was closed and that wasn't listed on any website.

This hotel is a joke. No available rooms at the check in time Booked a king size room, they gave me a twin room. I went to front desk to ask for my king size BOOKED bed and they literally fought with me telling they don’t have any. + Got in the room, called the front desk for an iron and they tell me to come back downstairs and pick it up. 4 stars my a$$ Waste of money. There’s no service.
