A Budget-friendly Hotel in Chinatown If you're looking for a reasonably priced stay in the heart of Chinatown, Hotel Mimosa on Eldridge Street might just fit the bill. It is situated close to two rail lines that traverse the iconic Manhattan Bridge, so there might be some noise. The windows do a decent job of muffling the city's hustle and bustle, but can't keep everything out. It's not the most glamorous hotel, but it's perfect if you're watching your budget. The double room is too small for two with luggage, but it's ideal for solo travelers. I lucked out with a freshly renovated, immaculately clean room. It was straightforward, functional, and far from uncomfortable. The stark contrast with my neighboring room was perplexing, considering they charge the same rate. Don't expect breakfast here, but the neighborhood offers plenty of morning dining options, including some delightful Chinese fare. The hotel provides a list of recommendations to make your choice easier. All in all, if you're on a tight budget and don't mind a few quirks, Hotel Mimosa is a solid choice. The friendly staff in the cozy lobby make the stay even more pleasant.

Fantastic hotel in Chinatown! Modern, clean, nice amenities and lovely staff, a 5 minute walk to the subway and 1 minute to the bus. You literally can’t beat the value for money. Will definitely stay next time I’m in NYC.

You get top value for what you pay for and then some. This place is CLEAN! Look forward to a comfy bed and pillows, work desk, smart TV, soap/toiletries, they even had a toothbrush, tongue cleaner, small toothpaste and shower cap. Kind staff and great location with everything you need nearby- restaurants but also helpful essentials like pharmacies and affordable groceries nearby. Plus the nearby metro. On the basement level they provide a fridge and microwave for your leftovers. Another thing worth noting- this is a trustworthy locally owned business. I have had two experiences with them- a recent stay, and a previous reservation I had to cancel (deposit was refunded with no questions asked). And if there’s an issue, they’ll address it. You can’t always expect that from big chain hotels. I’d highly recommend staying here. 🙂 Why I rated 5 stars- This isn’t a “five star hotel” in the luxury sense but they don’t pretend to be. So just understand that there’s a difference between hotel “class” stars for luxury and Google review stars which is more about experience. If you expect more from a hotel, believe me you WILL PAY FOR IT lol especially in Manhattan. I have stayed in so called luxury hotels charging way more per night and it’s not worth it. Doesn’t come close to the personal touch or the quality or cleanliness that you get at Hotel Mimosa. 🙂

I stayed for a few nights in February 2023 and just booked another stay for February 2024—this has become my new go-to hotel in Manhattan! It's exactly what most travelers should expect in New York: simple, comfortable, clean, and in a great location. Staff is friendly and it was quiet our entire stay. (As a bonus, this is on the parade route if you're here for the Lunar New Year.) Train and bus stops are nearby, great food options, and you can't beat being on the border of LES and Chinatown. I'm so grateful there's an affordable and well-kept option in this area. I don't mind the fans/space heaters, but a fridge and microwave in the room would be nice. However, not the end of the world! You're getting a great value here and I'm looking forward to returning.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
