        My room was not very large and there was some street noise; especially form the tram. The bathroom was very small, and the door was hung the wrong way so the door was kind of always ind the way. I asked the guy in the reception if he could recommend any restaurant(s) when I was on my way out for dinner and I got the answer; there are plenty of restaurants if you go down to the canal, I even tried again and got the same answer; he had nothing to recommend.

        Super tiny rooms. Mosquito did bite me . Was told by the lady at the reception they are called Tiger mosquitoes, and don't carry the malaria virus. The upside is that the Porta Genova metro is just a few steps away, and there e lots and lots of night activities around the corner with food restaurants in abundance

        I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Minerva for a week during a business trip, and I must say that I'm perplexed by the negative reviews. While it's important to remember that this is a three-star hotel, I found my experience to be quite satisfactory overall. Let's start with the room. Yes, it was on the smaller side, but I found it to be cozy and comfortable enough for my needs. After a long day of work, it provided a pleasant space to rest and recharge. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job of maintaining it throughout my stay. One aspect of Hotel Minerva that truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the front desk to the Bar, everyone I encountered was friendly, accommodating, and dedicated to ensuring a positive guest experience. Their professionalism and attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel welcome. The elevator in the hotel worked well, which was a relief since I had some heavy luggage with me. It made navigating the building hassle-free, and I appreciated the convenience it offered. Now, let's talk about breakfast. While it was decent, there was a slight issue with the excessive use of plastic. This could be improved by opting for more environmentally friendly alternatives. Nonetheless, the variety of options available was satisfactory, and I was able to find something to suit my preferences each morning. One significant drawback was the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms. This was an inconvenience, as I rely on a stable internet connection for work. However, I came prepared with mobile data, so it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Nonetheless, it would be beneficial for the hotel to address this issue in the future to enhance the experience for business travelers like myself. Fortunately, I had a room facing the inner court, which minimized any potential noise disturbances. It provided a peaceful environment for a good night's sleep after a busy day. The only other notable downsides were the firmness of the beds, which may not suit everyone's preferences, and the inconsistent water pressure. These are common issues in Italy, and while they can be slightly inconvenient, they are by no means exclusive to Hotel Minerva. Despite these minor drawbacks, I left Hotel Minerva with a positive impression. It offers good value for money, especially considering its location in a great area. The hotel's proximity to various attractions and amenities is a definite plus for both business and leisure travelers. In conclusion, Hotel Minerva exceeded my expectations as a three-star hotel. While there are some areas for improvement, such as the Wi-Fi and breakfast plastic usage, the pleasant rooms, friendly staff, and convenient facilities made for an enjoyable stay. As long as you come prepared with mobile data and manage your expectations, I believe you'll have a comfortable and satisfying experience at Hotel Minerva.

        It is not the hotel! Do not trust the pictures on their website which are totally opposite of the reality. The hair dryer is broken and is wrapped with tape. That shining red furniture is ugly as hell. Super tiny room and noisy fan in the toilet. For my experience, it is more like a Guest House rather than the hotel. 125euros/night is not worthy at all. Well, the front desk is always friendly and helpful. The location is good which is close to the subway. Air conditioning is working properly during my stay. Run! Don’t stay unless they change!
