This is interesting hotel - probably used to be a top hotel in Porto back in late 80's and early 90's. This hotel now should be classed as a retro hotel, but unfortunately someone of the essential features are still from that time period and are not working properly or are damaged. A bathroom light was not working properly, glass was cracked on the window, window lock was not working, curtains were ripped and it was loud until late, because of the refurbishment works I believe. It can be very nice experience, but hotel needs some upgrades to make it all more pleasant and more safe. Personnel working at the reception desk must be more engaged with the customers, more friendly and helpful.

Very cozy place. Plenty of room in the suites and the staff was amazingly friendly. The view from the top of the restaurant where we had the breakfast, was stunning 😍! I definitely recommend it and I will to go back as well whenever possible.

My room was on the 11th floor so no street noise and I slept well. Based on colors and materials this hotel was built in the 70ties and my room had much of the original "character" left. -it was extremely dated, but everything worked and it was clean. Breakfast was served at the top floor and the view was amazing and it was fascinating to see the dog sweeping in from the valley. The location is not near anything, so you will have a bit of a walk wherever you want to go.

My experience at the hotel fell short of expectations. The room's view was faced the back of the hotel rather than the scenic Douro River. Furthermore, I encountered issues with the room's heating system, which was not functioning. Despite reporting the problem to the reception, the offered solution was only a blanket, and no alternative room or repair was provided. This made my stay quite uncomfortable due to the cold conditions. In addition, the water in the bathroom did not reach a satisfactory temperature. At best, it remained lukewarm after an extended wait, impacting the overall comfort of my stay.

Views are hella dope from the restaurant or from the 11th floor room. The rooms are very functional and have really beautiful wooden furniture. Real wood, not mass produced saw-dust plates covered with PVC, whoever disses this hotel’s old-school 60s vibe in the reviews, can’t really appreciate older eras. Don’t expect everything to work smoothly, this hotel has antique bits in it. The elevators are cool, when one malfunctions, there are two more. The restaurant is on the 13th floor. Staff is really friendly and admins too. 27 minute or ~30 minute walk to Ribeira.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
