Very hospitable and friendly staff. It was evident that the staff came from various backgrounds and they are able to communicate with guests from different nationalities which is a definite plus. They were very helpful and attentive as well and was able to provide solutions to any problems you may have. The rooms were dean and had everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 children. There was a washing machine and dryer in the hotel basement plus an ice machine. It was close to the subway and a family mart. ❤️

We had an amazing stay at hotel MONday! Breakfast had a lot of variety and great chance to Japanese style breakfast. Great service from the staff here, always smiling and ready to help. Location is also convenient, 2 metro stations nearby. The hotel is so close to two ancient castles which are a must visit. They also have free shuttles daily to the Golden Temple! Best part, the room was spacious and bathroom was bigger than most Japanese hotels. Definitely recommended!!! Will stay here again when I'm back in Kyoto.

This hotel is exceptional. So many things to speak highly of: The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They securely held our baggage when we arrived early. They offer a free a hotel shuttle to and from the Kinkaku’ji Golden Temple which is a do-not-miss sight in Kyoto. The breakfast in the lobby each more is delicious and has a huge variety of options. They had a free sake tasting in the lobby, but this was maybe just for New Years. The subway station is next door and a major bus stop a block away, made it easy for us to explore every corner of Kyoto. There is a supermarket and convenience store right next door with everything we needed. The rooms are clean and felt spacious enough for my family. The beds were comfortable and the shower was so nice after a long day of exploring. Overall, the value you get for your money here is excellent. No complaints at all.

When we booked a stay here, we weren't actually expecting too much because the rooms were such a good price. However, we were blown away by how great our time was here. The staff were exceptional, the place feels brand new, and the rooms were rather spacious and modern. Location is great as well, literally a couple minutes away from a train station and a convenience store. The breakfast was alright, honestly I prefer just getting food at the convenience store as the buffet is filled with families which felt rather noisy and unenjoyable. It was incredible that we got a much better place, quality and experience wise then a hotel we stayed at in Kyoto previously that was more then double the price. Would highly recommend, and will definitely have it top of mind for all my trips to Kyoto.
