        Stay for 1 night. You can refer to the photos in the other review. Pro: 1. It's within my budget. 2. The room included with Mineral water and other facilities 3. It's a Big room. Con: 1. It's quite a distance from Kyoto station 2. The staff will have you do the check-in using the screen and scan your passport 3. Take note if you are earlier than your check-in time you can leave your bag at the hotel but it will be located at the lobby not back of the front desk.

        Hotel M's Est Kyoto Station South lives up to its name, just a 4-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The location is prime, offering easy access to Avanti, Aeon Mall, and four convenience stores scattered in different corners. A restaurant sits right in front of the hotel, with numerous local eateries nearby. Conveniently, there's a coin laundry shop and a Toyota Car rental service. The room rate is quite reasonable. However, it's worth mentioning that the reception is often vacant. They have a bell for assistance, though. One suggestion would be to provide two room cards, as we experienced in another hotel we booked in Tokyo. Additionally, it's unusual to see luggages left in one corner of the lobby, which, while we didn't leave ours, raises concerns about security, especially when the reception is not always manned. The reception staff we spoke with have limited English proficiency, but communication is manageable by using common English words.

        It was a very good location. Easily go to Kyoto Station or Kujo Station. There is a Coco Curry right infront of the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to tge Kyoto Avanti Mall with a Don Quijote on the second floor. The rooms are clean. Towels changed every day that we were there. Lastly, the staff were friendly accomodating and tried their best to communicate to us with tgeir knowledge of English or through an App.

        The hotel is convenient because it is very close to the station. The rooms are clean and new. Unfortunately, in addition to this, the hotel does not offer any other type of service except the washing machine, which is very expensive. The reception is practically non-existent and even when it is there it doesn't speak a word of English. It's 2023 and this is a tourist hotel. English is the minimum for those who deal with hotel reception. They don't offer a suitcase shipping service, they don't call a taxi for you, the self-storage service for suitcases consists of keeping them in the hall, where there is never anyone and anyone could come in and take them. They don't even do check-in and check-out, I had to do those myself too. At this point I wonder what you need the staff for. If you want to earn on tourism but without offering anything other than a bed to sleep in, next time you will do it with another customer. In addition to the hotel's response: Let's say you have English-speaking staff. WELL. I am not a liar and I have a native English speaking wife. Evidently she has forgotten her own language.

        Self check in. Room code, hotel code etc will be provided. Small bathtub inside the room. Overall a good place for just sleeping.
