This was the best hotel accommodation during my 3 weeks in Japan. Great value for money. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was a lot more spacious than other hotels we stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and included many Japanese and Western food options. Location is excellent, close to shops, food market, subway stations and plenty of bus options. Walking distance to the Gion district. A very enjoyable stay in Kyoto, I highly recommend!

Location is excellent. So convenient. Everything is good except the breakfast and the services in the lounge. I asked for spoon because it ran out and she just nod and she clearly knows what I asked for but she didn't bother to bring the spoon out. She was cleaning up the dishes and she left it unattended next to our table when we clearly still eating. It's rude.

This hotel was an absolute gem for the price! We stayed in a Musse Hollywood Twin and reckon it was the best hotel of our trip. The room was big, spacious and clean. Amenities were top notch with hotel toiletries, teas and coffee machine in the hotel lobby. The stand out was the location being very well connected to public transport. There were bus stops for multiple route a min away from the hotel as well as train lines on either end of the main road (roughly a 7 min walk away) From this hotel, restaurants are close by, as well as Nishiki Market being a few mins walk away. Head west and you'll find yourself heading towards Gion as well as older, historic parts of Kyoto.

Amazing location and great value. Countless restaurants and facilities at your doorstep. The two best meals I had in Japan were less than a 10 minute walk from this hotel (Wagyu Yakiniku Waya and Tai Sushi). The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Perfect hotel for a stay in Kyoto, I will be back.

We booked 2 rooms next to each other during our trip to Kyoto. The rooms and bathrooms were nicely furnished. The location can't get any better and it is very conveniently located at the center of Kyoto. Close to many restaurants, train stations, temples, etc.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
