UDATE on my previous review. Since my previous review everything changed. Like true Japanese fashion, the service Team did not allow us to leave without feeling welcomed and fulfilled with our stay. They truly went above and beyond to rectify the issues listed below and even accommodated us in a MUCH nicer room. The management Team here are exceptional. Once they got wind of the issues, they strapped their boots and got to work right away. My wife and I have never felt so special in our lives. We really loved this placed. TOTAL LET DOWN..I was coming into this place with high expectations, considering price point and history of the place. Please see my previews reviews, I normally DO NOT do 1 star reviews unless I feel it deserves it. I am writing this review from the room I am staying in and still here for another night. Here is the reason for my ONE STAR: My room had a stench of URINE in it coming out of the bathroom and into the room. Enough to make my wife and myself gag from the smell. It felt as if they cleaned the room and just ignored the smell before handing us the room key. I called the help desk and they send someone up to assess the problem. The gentleman noticed it right away and had us wait in this urine while they found another room. They then transferred us to another of the same room ( I paid a bit more for a nicer room because I am on my 10 year anniversary), this room WAS AGAIN disturbing. The carpet floors have stains all over and it feels as if though they did the bare minimum to maintain and clean the room. This is so disappointing. I hate ending my trip to Japan this way. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, please do yourself the favor and look for something elsewhere. Again, the price point of this place should allow you to feel like you are where you paid to be. This did not do that. It did the opposite...

Pretty disappointed with this hotel. Rooms smelled of smoke even though we paid for a non-smoking room and the room felt outdated for the price we paid. The images online paint this as a more lavish 5 star hotel, and I’d rank it right up with Best Western in more of a motel category. I will say that the space in the rooms is quite large for Japan, so that was nice at least. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again for 45,000 yen/night. This was the 7th hotel we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Japan, and it was by far my least favorite.

What a beautiful garden in a hotel! and it is maintained so good. This was my second time here last October, it's still drawing me to take lots of pictures. Every time you come, you get different sides of it. 13/10/23

The Shin-Edo room was beautiful, relaxing, and spacious. The bath area was a spa experience the scent of the cedar soaking tub made it even more relaxing. Housekeeping keep everything orderly. They were efficient and unobtrusive. The hotel food and shopping services (especially Trader Vics) are so varied you hardly need to leave the hotel complex. The concierge service is very knowledgeable and works very hard to assist guests with difficult to acquire tickets and reservations. The New Otani is one of favorite parts of our trips to Tokyo, they make it extra special.

For Western person Satsuki breakfast suits us best but we are asked to pay much higher price. We understand service and choice is much larger but if not so hungary we are4 penalised. Also are a long day at meetings and dinner i would like sometimes a nightcap but last orders are at 22.30 at Hotel Bars, this means we have to go out to other place for relaxation .

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
