This hotel offers a great stay for a good price. The location is great and lies within walking distance from the train station as well as most tourist locations. All employees were welcoming and could help us with any requests. The room we had was generally fine, however the AC and hairdryer could’ve been better. The receptionist promised us that they’d look into this. The beds were fine and there was not much noise from the streets. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast as it offered a good variety of different products for different travelers.

Excellent location and superb staff. Yuri, at the desk, was simply great all the time. The staff at the breakfast extremely courteous as well. The room was super spacious and warm, breakfast with plenty of choices. Will surely stop by again next time in Florence.

First, the not so good. Rooms are a little shabby (not shabby chic, just need a bit of TLC). Ours had a leaky air con that soaked the bed, the door handle was loose and the shower head kept falling on me. That's the bad part. The rest is all good. Location is just outside the action but not too far that you don't get some noise. Parking is valet service and is very reliable and safe. Breakfast is a buffet style and had lots of high quality food items. The staff truly make this place what it is. Everyone is an absolute star. We spent most of our time chatting to Juri, who deserves special mention. Florence is a wonderful city and this hotel is an excellent choice. The rooms need a little TLC. That’s about as bad as it is.

I have stay in probably over 300 hotel rooms. This was the worst experience I have ever had. My room had a mosquito infestation. They said they would clean and had mosquito removal machine ( they look like glade plug ins). I didn’t want to go back to my room because I was in so much pain I didn’t want to continue to get eaten. I almost past out in the lobby because I was avoiding my room all day. My face hands and body were covered with bites. It ruin the rest of my trip. My husband got eaten alive the second night so bad he thought it was bed bugs. When we came back to the room for the final night, they told us it was handled. Upon walking into our room there were mosquitos still on the ceiling shower and room. I sent an email again and then they finally move us. I only had 1 out of 3 night without being attached by mosquitos and they only offered me $100 off the trip. The breakfast here was also not good.

Just spent 6 Days here and the Hotel surpassed all our expectations. The staff were friendly courteous and made our stay a welcome holiday. The breakfast was exceptional and the Coffee was what one would expect of Italy 👍 The location of the Hotel could not have been better located for both walking into the City and other interesting sites. Equally the taxi ride from the Airport was only approx 20 minutes comfortable and equally affordable at a set price, far easier than tram, bus or other means. All eating establishments were plentiful and not any disappointed. Hotel Dal Palazzo Borgo is a gem and sure to continue to be recommended.
