I had a great stay at Pension am Siegestor ! The rooms are very comfortable and clean, there are a great selection of foods at breakfast, Tanja the owner is very helpful, and the location is excellent (five minutes in the metro from Marienplatz). The hotel is good value for money, and as others have said the building and the historic lift add to the charm. I'd definitely come back.

Pension am Siegestor is a great base for exploring Munich. The room was large and comfortable, and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was the icing on the cake... a large spread of breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurt, cereals as well as lots of delicious homemade jams, and more that we were too full to try! We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in Munich.

I stayed at the Pension Am Siegstor at the end of June 2023. The rooms are basic but spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is well located, a 10 mintue walk from Odeonsplatz and close to the Universitat underground station. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and has a wonderful sense of humour - not to mention being a jam making genius! Make sure to try them at breakfast!

I booked Pension am Siegestor precisely because I needed to work at Allianz Arena. Over 3 days I visited the stadium 4 times and the proximity of U-Bahn Universitaet was absolutely perfect! The room was also very spacious, well-priced, and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was extremely comprehensive - so much on offer! I will definitely stay again when I'm next in Munich for work, highly recommended!

Great place to stay with the feel of old Munich hospitality and traditional interiors. Impressive old staircase. Great breakfast. Though very quiet inside, centrally located, with many bars, cafés and restaurants nearby. Sight-seeing starts right at the hotel with Ludwigstraße and 19th century university campus.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
