        We checked in Sat Jan 20 for a weeks stay in Santiago. The weather was in the 90's F all week. The hotel room was warm for the first few nights but on Wednesday night our room got so warn we could not sleep. We spoke to management expressed our concerns and they told us they would address it. Thursday evening the room was comfortable all night. Come Friday I guess they thought we left or something. The room got uncomfortably hot again. We called down and they did nothing. Here is the breakdown. 1. The hotel maintenance staff checked our rooms air conditioner twice and proclaimed zero mechanical issues with the unit in our room. 2. We asked some technical questions and this hotels AC units run on "chilled water" Which means all the room units are cooled by centrally distributed cold water. 3. We asked if the chilled water system was turned down or off at night and the answer was yes. So my big issue is same room, same AC unit, same weather outside. Why do I have different temperatures in my room? I think we can all surmise that answer... It was not all bad, Water pressure in shower was good, location was good, free parking, staff was nice but their hands were tied by management on our AC issue. One person even offered to buy us drinks, they felt so bad we were getting the short end of the stick. However, more bad... Bed sucked (soft), Breakfast had same items every day. Elevators were very small and one of three was down for maintenance 5 of 7 our days there. Toilet clogged if you flushed one tissue down it!!! My advice, Don't stay here. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.

        My friend had his entire bag with all his belongs stolen by someone INSIDE HIS ROOM while he was having lunch and the manager didn’t give the proper attention, staff didn’t seem to care and everyone was so unprepared for the situation. Worst place I’ve ever seen, if you care about your safety do not go to this hotel.

        The value and location make the Hotel Plaza el Bosque Ebro a winner! The executive suite is spacious with good views. The rooftop restaurant has amazing 360° views with a good breakfast and helpful staff. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They allowed us to have a late check out and booked a taxi for us. The lobby has comfortable seating and a good restaurant downstairs. The hotel is a bit dated and the AC really struggles so we had to open the windows. All -in-all though, we would definitely stay here again.

        Located in walking distance from Mall Costanera Center (or Gran Torre Santiago) and subway Tobalaba station, this hotel was quite convenient for my business. As Santiago public transportation system seemed good, this hotel is probably convenient for tourists as well. Front staffs were kind and welcoming and spoke good English. The room was large enough and well cleaned. Housekeeping was... well, I do not say it was bad, but they seemed a little careless. I guess they just planned to put pillowcases on later but forgot about it. It did not cause any real inconvenience. By the way, I do not know if it is common in Chile or not, but their shower had two handles (knobs?) and the right was for water tap and the left was for water temperature. When I turned the left handle, nothing happened, and when I did the right handle, only cold water was showered. I did not know how I could take a hot shower for a while. It turned out I could just used the left handle to adjust the temperature, you know. It is obvious once I notice it, but I seriously considered if I should call the front desk or not at that time. (I am happy I noticed how to use it before I did that.)
