Room was amazing and looked exactly the same as advertised, only negative I would say is the room can get a little cold in winters and the air con doesn’t do a great job at heating the room unless you close the windows, which blocks the view and that was the only reason I booked the trip, the air con fan was also incredibly loud. Other than that I would recommend staying here as a couple for sure, my girlfriend loved it!

Love this little boutique hotel at Pontsteiger! Perfectly placed to enjoy a morning espresso or evening glass of wine along the water's edge surrounded by panoramic views of Amsterdam! It's about a 20 minute walk from Central Station and conveniently located within walking and biking distance to numerous dining and city attractions. Our room exceeded typical European expectations in terms of size and comfort and the staff was simply wonderful! We were in town for the Dam tot Dam race as well as our anniversary and truly loved everything about our stay here! We also had the pleasure of taking advantage of the bicycles they offer for rental. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and made us feel truly welcome! Definitely recommend!

Last visited Sept 2023. Just a couple of stops by bus from Central station, location was rather good. Great views. Hotel and rooms are based on the ground floor. Now about the room and my experience The room was clean and a good size, but it seems work was not complete. Celling was yet to be completed. No facilitie are available at this hotel. No restaurant or bar. They mentioned a cafe to be by the reception, but its more of a little tuck shop. For the price paid for the weekend, it was criminal. It has potential, but they screwed up by charging me this rate. No restaurant or bar or any other facilities. So make sure the price reflects this.

Clean rooms but very small (absolutely no place for luggage). All rooms are on first floor with windows facing a courtyard where people gather - groups of people standing inches from me in bed which means that you must keep blinds closed and remain clothed at all times. Also was construction happening right outside room while we were there (had not been told ahead of time and were not offered discount) and at times was very loud. front desk mentioned that before construction had been a nice restaurant and that rooms across the way by water were nicer and quieter but unavailable which was not helpful.
