        Great hotel for short visit! Rooms are small but very cozy and clean, quiet location and Bologna subway station is 5min walking distance, which is great if you are in Rome for tourist visit! Very nice and friendly staff. Just one small thing: the hotel doesn't have an iron, so if you are there on a business trip, make sure you get your wrinkle free clothing, other than this we had a great stay!

        Just wrapped up a 5 night stay here. I’m fairly happy with our stay. The view from room 103 is a quite good view of the forest grove. A couple of things they could improve on are the manners of the breakfast manager, he is very abrupt seems to have arbitrary rules about eating outside or not. Also some of the room fixtures need replacing due to being worn. The location is near Bologna Metro and I liked the quiet location. The night manager was very helpful with bus route suggestions.

        We booked a higher category, so that we would not get a room in the basement or in -1. The room we’ve got was situated next to the door. The receptionist was smoking with a friend at the bar and they were really load, so that we couldn’t sleep and could smell the smoke in the room. During the night we woke up because of the telephone ringing. The only room they could offer, was a much smaller one, but at least without smoke. The receptionist in the morning to clear the problem was unfriendly and not really respectful. The breakfast choice was ok, but the buffet was empty after some time and not filled up back again. There was a really nice lady serving, very friendly and open. She was laughing all the time until her colleague was lying. The server was unfriendly, lying at us regarding table reservations and not giving us a table for four and loud. He was educating the guests and sending them around. Disrespectful! We will see how the last three days will end. We asked for the hotel manager, but he is not talking to his guests. It is really not what I expect of a relaxed stay.

        Absolutely awful. We were allocated a room in the basement which smelled horrendously of damp and the general quality of the room was appalling. The bathroom wall was lined with mould and the only light was a tiny window littered with spiders. We had to ask for the AC to be enabled twice before we could use that in 32C heat. The staff were unable to do anything to move us and so we had to leave and book alternative accommodation as the room was not fit for occupation. Absolutely the worst experience of a hotel I’ve ever had in my life.

        I have no idea how this hotel is a four-star hotel. It was absolutely the worst stay we had while in Italy. Our room was in the basement. When we got to the bottom floor, it smelled like a zoo. Once we got into our room, it smelled of mildew and everything was wet. I didn't feel comfortable stepping on the floors without shoes on. The staff was fine, but definitely didn't go out of their way to see that we were comfortable or if we needed any help with anything. They were borderline rude. And the shower wouldn't drain and would've flooded the bathroom had we not turned it off. The hotel also wasn't easy to find. Our taxi driver couldn't even find it. I'm just glad we were only there one night.
