        This hotel was an absolute nightmare! No reception, and they forced us to check in at some other random hotel, which was also where they served breakfast. To add insult to injury, they conveniently "forgot" to mention this during the booking and informed us later in some half-hearted email. And as if that wasn't enough, the hot water was non-existent, and the air conditioner was not working. To make matters worse, the coordinating hotel, the Golden Tulip Rime Piram, acted as if they were doing us a monumental favor by offering us a room. The entire experience was beyond terrible; save yourself the agony and never, I repeat, never book a room here.

        Great experience. Well heated rooms and has hot water for showering. A bit hard to find. They told me it’s on the first floor but it’s actually on the second. Should get rid of the random block in the middle of the first floor entrance or someone might trip.

        We booked for Regina Giovanna back in March and immediately got an email that instructed us our booking was relocated to Golden Tulip. When we arrived, now in December, to the Golden Tulip for check as instructed, we get a paper with the instructions of how to walk to the Regina Giovanna which location is not the same as in Google Maps (real location is 243 Via Nazionale), codes for door entry and a keychain with more than 5 keys just to get in. We had to walk with our luggage to Regina Giovanna, which they say is 3 blocks and it’s more. No help with luggage was offered and employees treated us very indifferent. The Regina Giovanna has no front desk, so for check out we walked to Golden Tulip and asked if a taxi could pick us up at the Regina location and the front desk lady said that if we wanted a taxi called for pick up we had to walk to Golden Tulip. Again, no help with luggage was offered.

        I have never felt more unwelcome at a place where I am paying $200+ a night. The Check-in Process was brutal. Once we got to the hotel there was no reception. Just a note saying check ins must be done at another hotel a few blocks away. This was ok. Went and got my key. Upon my arrival the key did not work on any of the rooms on the 1st floor. The 2nd and 3rd floor are occupied by residents. I was not told and there was no paperwork indicating that my hotel room (147) is located on the 4th floor. Lots of communication could have been done before hand to make this process go much smoother. It took nearly 2 hours to check in. The Room was clean and have no complaints.

        We are staying here right now. No hot water for 2 days. Check in is at a different hotel. Total nightmare.
