        The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was simple and delicious. The pool is large and clean. I'd say their Grab and Go store was the highlight. The variety of choices was superb and the prices were shockingly fair. The ladies behind the counter were very cool and helpful too. Try the Bahn Mi if you get the chance and please let them toast it for you! The location is great as walking to the many nearby attractions is very doable.

        I was a little worried about choosing this hotel after reading some of the negative reviews. I decided to give it a shot anyway, because I liked the location and the price was fair. We had two rooms and stayed four nights. We didn’t have any problems at all. The room was nice and clean. The service was good. The location can’t be beat - just a very short walk to the bay and it was an excellent location for home during our vacation. The free breakfast was amazing. The selection of items was fantastic. And the quality of the food was far better than your usual free hotel breakfast. The only thing that I think could be improved about this hotel is the bathroom situation. The toilet and shower were behind a door and it was a very small space. Totally livable, but a little more space in the shower area would be nice. The vanity and mirror are not behind a door. This was a bummer because I wanted to get ready for the day before others in the room were awake but turning the light on would disturb them since there is no door. In the end, it worked out fine but if they could put a door on the outside of the whole bathroom area I think it would be amazing. I would absolutely stay here again.

        This place is a dive. The room has a dirty musty smell. The traffic noise is horrible. Way too noisy.. This hotel should do something about the windows to reduce the noise levels. People come to hotels for a restful night and sleep. Not for traffic noises. The service is mediocre as they don’t care to help with the issues when you bring it to their attention. I would not stay here again. The only positive is the location, but it’s not enough compared to the issues.

        Hotel Riu Plaza Hotel is a nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, and a large room. However, the bathroom is a bit of a squeeze. The inclusive breakfast is good value with plenty of options. The hotel is great for the family or the business person. It's not good for a romantic stay. The location is perfect for access to the hop on buses, cable cars, and Pier 39. I would stay again for location.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
