        I can't even begin to describe everything that happened. The person who welcomed us was incredibly rude and didn't speak any English, so my girlfriend had to use her limited Italian and Google Translate to communicate with him. To our surprise, he asked for our identity cards. Even though my girlfriend has a valid EU identity card (She travelled with it), he refused to accept it because she was born in the Middle East. It was unbelievable that they wouldn't accept her EU card just because of her place of birth. To avoid any further problems after our long journey to Rome, she showed him her passport. Even then, he hesitated and insisted on seeing a passport from her birth country, which she didn't have! It was an absurd request, so we had no choice but to leave. Then he was like "ok give me that passport", it was clear that he was unhappy with us. Before we could even unpack, he insisted on getting payment for our stay in both cash and card. We went along with it, thinking it was a normal procedure. Finally, when we settled into our room after a tiring journey, we were just about to fall asleep when we heard a loud argument in Italian. Soon after, there was an aggressive knock on our door, and someone demanded that we open it immediately, speaking in English. When I opened the door, a police officer stood there, showing me his ID card. He glanced inside the room without saying anything and left. For the next three days, there was this same guy who would stand outside our door in the early morning, talking loudly on the phone or causing a disturbance. The street outside was also very noisy. We were disappointed to find out that the hotel was located in an area known for its high crime rate. You can search "Termini" on Google to learn more. Additionally, the main door of the building was huge and very difficult to open from the inside. Sometimes, we had to wait for someone else to enter so that we could get out. There were so many things that happened, and I can't even cover them all. In short, if this hotel were the only option available in the future, I would happily choose to sleep on the street near a train station instead of going through such an experience again. I give them one star because zero isn't possible on Google maps.

        Close to the train station, but in the opposite direction of the touristic places. The room was fairly clean. The bed was comfortable. The elevator didn't stop on the 3rd floor where my room was. The wifi was hit or miss. But for the price, no bad.

        Everything was clean and the room is quite large. There is an air conditioner in the room which is very helpful and free wifi of course is always great. A short walk to Termini station along with some places to eat and a local supermarket. Approximately a half an hour walk from the colosseum. our room was cleaned during the day when we were out. There is a small tv in the room as well.

        If 0 star can be given, I will give Albergo Sandra 0 star. I don't need to exaggerate how terrible it is, because IT IS THE WORST HOTEL we have ever experienced through many years traveling around the world. We booked this hotel through Expedia for the last night for our vacation in Italy. We traveled back from Florence to Rome. When we arrived this hotel, it was at around 8:30 in the evening. We found we couldn't enter the building. The owner didn't want to open the door for us, and just replied us through the speaker on the main entrance "I don't have room for you". We were shocked and didn't know what is going on. Until someone else living in that building happened to come back and opened the door for us. We waited at the lobby for a long while to wait for the owner to appear. When he finally came, he coldly told us he has no room for us and has cancelled our reservation 2 days ago. You can imagine how shocked we were! The guy claimed he had informed to Expedia and called us. What he said is full of lies. Firstly, we never got any call from him. Secondly, we contacted Expedia immediately. Expedia argent said from their side they didn't see any cancellation request from the owner too. The only reason he kicked us out was because he had given the rooms to a big group of people 2 days ago. We only booked one room for one night, so the greedy owner certainly wanted to kicked us out first to receive the bigger group! The owner is a totally liar. He is greedy, cold and rude. After all of these, he didn't have any guilty feeling, just wanted us leave his hotel at night with 2 young kids. We had to call Expedia and let them help to find another hotel. It was a holiday in Italy, so it is not easy to quickly find another vacant place in a short walking distance at night. Until we finally arrived another hotel, it has been almost midnight. That liar wasted a lot of our time and ruined our good mood in vacation! I regretted that I didn't do any research before I booked it, because it is only one night staying, I didn't think too much. If I had read other reviews, i should know what we experienced had happened to other customers before! So, stay away from this hotel, because you don't know if you will be thrown out by the owner at night or not!
