Wow! This hotel made me feel like I was in old Japan and the space, cleanliness, maintenance, kindness, charm, and smell (yes, smell) of the of hotel just gave me such a sense of fond memories even though I've never been to Japan before. The rooms are HUGE they are set up like a studio with a mud room, living room w/ couch, and a huge bathtub with asian style shower. We stayed here because they were one of the few hotels that offered a free breakfast, the breakfast is a Japanese set with no substitutions. I think the breakfast room could be a bit updated as it felt like a florescent-ly bright lunch/break room for coworkers on a break. The location is great too, tucked away behind the main Gion street quiet but close enough to all the bustle.

One of my favorite hotels we stayed at in Japan - the place is a little older with 80’s style decor. But the rooms are really comfy and clean, it’s in a great location in the heart of Gion close to all the main sites. Breakfast is delicious, there is an awesome jacuzzi and big bathroom, and the staff are very nice. Great value for what you pay!

1. The hotel is spacious, this is very different from other hotels in Kyoto with the same rating and price range. 2. Wifi speed is exceptionally fast, very good for photos loading after a long day sightseeing at this stunning city. 3. The hotel is nearby to the main shopping district of Kawaramachi. It's merely 5mins walking distance with lots of traditional and modern restaurants.

Renting a room contains breakfast automatically. Breakfast is good. From 7 to 9. Rooms are quite big. They are somewhat clean. 2l of water free of charge. Free WiFi. It's a bit expensive at least in the spring season in March. Bit it's okay I guess.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
