At the heart of Thamel, In a quiet side street, you'll find a lovely well blended hotel named Serenity. You can almost miss it if you don't look for it. But once you enter the building, you're somewhere else outside the Thamel. Or so it feels... And that's when the magic begins. The rooms are elegant and tidy. and the beds are too comfortable to get yourself up from. The forth floor has an exit to a sweet roof top balcony with stairs to the fifth floor that will lead you to this beautiful scenery of the surroundings. Mr Ranju, the sweet owner will make you feel home right from the beginning and Arjun, his professional devoted worker will go way and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Oh and don't miss a breakfast on the roof! Highly recommend.

The hotel is clean and beautiful but the staff is not nice Breakfast is until 10 am, and actually from 9 am the dining room seems not prepared for diners. When we asked to replenish food, the answer was negative, so we ate leftovers. This is a very awkward and unpleasant situation. The staff is not right to help and help guests, and dismissively treats as if we are taking their time. The hotel looks good but when the attitude from the staff is cold and embarrassing it destroys your vacation.

True to its name, the hotel is located on a pedestrian only street. It's an oasis in the chaotic city of Kathmandu. The rooms are clean, spacious and inexpensive. The staff were helpful. There are also plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and shopping within walking distance. Dubar Square and the Palace Museum are all within 20-30 mins of walking, and there are lots to see along the way. One advice I have is to book an airport shuttle directly from them if you are flying in. It's comparable to taxi pricing and since they have special permit to drive into the pedestrian section, you can get on and off the shuttle right from the door, instead of dragging your suitcase from a nearby street.

The hotel is well located. The rooms are spacious and bathroom are clean. They have a good price for the rooms they have. If you a french fries lover there is a shop called BK's place just mins away walk from the hotel.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
