        This is a hard one to review because the location was amazing, the staff were great and the room was large and yet the fact the AC is basically non existent really crushed my view of this hotel. We were on the 3rd floor 338 I think, and the room when opened for us by the bellhop was well over 90 degrees. He said the room doesn't have AC on until the guest card is in this slot, so I assumed it would cool down since we left a card in the slot all day and night. I was wrong, but thankfully it was a cooler night and we could at least open the window for some cooler air. After sweating in just my boxers on top of the sheets all night and hardly sleeping I asked the gentleman at the front desk to see if he could fix our air or change our room. He said he would have someone check it out. We then explored Rome and came back hours later hot and sweaty to a still not cool room. I asked the front desk what the issue was and he indicated that the AC was working as sweat was running down my face. Realizing that this is obviously an issue the hotel is aware of but won't correct I told him to let me use the fan he had on his desk till we checked out so I could at least have some air movement in the room. He was kind enough to let me use it, but I would never stay here again as I am terrified what it would have been like on warmer days. The fan helped a little, so if you are stuck here with this issue and you didn't catch the reviews about the AC, take the desk fan. Maybe if enough people take the fan from the front desk they will fix the issue.

        Fantastic stay in a super location. We asked for a quiet room and got one overlooking the back courtyard, slept great! Nice sized room and convenient to everything! Helpful staff, clean, and comfy beds! Highly recommended!

        Location is ideal and everything you’d want to see is within walking distance. The restaurant next to it is also very good, that’s about all the good I have to say, now on to the bad. The housekeeping “threw away” a shopping bag I had on my luggage that had my sandals in it as well as brand new items from L’occitane worth over 100 euros , antiques i bought from Florence worth over 140 euros as well as my disposable camera that had all the photos of my time in Florence and more. I brought the issue up with front desk, the woman working reception was actually very pleasant and told me I would be refunded the value of my belongings if the housekeeping had made a mistake. The next day the manager and i presume owner called the housekeeping infront of me and confirmed she had made a mistake and threw my belongings away, they said they would come back in 5 minutes to make things right. They did not. Later in the evening, i spoke to the next gentleman at the reception desk. Once again he repeated the sentiment that they were aware they had made a mistake and would make it right in the form of…. A free breakfast. What an absolute joke. They continuously delayed “making it right” till it was time for me to check out, at which point they offered me 50 euros, i have declined this and am now in the lengthy process of getting in touch with their insurance to get back the value of my belongings. The hotel itself is realistically a 2 star hotel as it is outdated and the rooms are pretty worn; there is only one elevator so check out early if you are in a rush. The management will not handle anything professionally and will hide behind whoever is at front desk and have them pass along the message. All in all i do not recommend this hotel to anyone, if you do stay here because the location makes sense; lock all your stuff up properly or it may just get taken too.

        It’s really a 2 star hotel and don’t be mislead by the first Google pic here of the fancy looking hotel….that’s the building across the street (not the hotel you’re staying in). Rooms are very old and dated, stained ceilings, shower drains backing up (not draining), would not give us two extra towels, bathrooms are very small/tight. Twice in one morning (7:30am and 8am) the cleaning service walked into our rooms without even knocking. Overall it needs work and a renovation. More like a hostel than a hotel.

        I have been to Rome many times and this is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are extremely outdated and the ac does not work at all. Even worse I found multiple bed bugs on my bed I was extremely disgusted. Not only that the customer service is non existent I went to complain to them and they just raised their voices at me. They clearly have not had the right customer service training when they started working. The two Indian man at the front desk were extremely rude and felt that raising their voice would get us to stop complaining and out of the front desk. The manger is name Fredrica and is extremely useless and doesn’t know how to run a hotel. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON COMING TO ROME I REPEAT THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS!!!
