        The worst experience ever in a hotel stay.. we were really unhappy about the way they handled the situation. we got 8 rooms but in 4 different floors.. even they had free rooms in the same floor. Went there after reminding the reservation at 1.30pm which was done before 1 month.. i had done the advance payment as well. We had to stay in the lobby for more than 2 hours.. last room was given to us 3 hours later In the evening.. When one of my friends tried to enter the 319 room it is found that it's already occupied and we were very embarrassed about what happened. Also after they have asked us to go to our rooms they didn't handed over the keys of any room. We had to go to the reception several times to get the keys and they gave us the last room key only around 6 o clock. Still they have given us 7 double rooms and 1 triple rooms instead of 2 triple rooms and 6 double rooms. thirdly after all these difficulties we had to face, they have reserved a table for 16 people only at the dining area and when our kids were dining at another table which is for four one of the stewards has asked them to get up and move to the reserved table. No enough cutleries were given at the dinner.. live cooking chefs we're horrible. . the kottu pieces were spreading all around. the staff were horrible from the receptionist to the cleaning staff..

        I’ve been visiting here since I was a kid in 1996 the place seems to have not changed one bit frozen in time… they have maintained the property well and not changed even the carpet on the staircase for decades. Service could be better but over all good experience - my visit was too short to experience more but over all I was happy there.

        A Historic Hotel in Kandy with Old Architectural Design I am writing to discuss the opportunity to renovate your historic hotel in Kandy. The rooms are outdated and in need of improvement. Enhancing the dessert and salad offerings, as well as introducing Sri Lankan cuisine to foreigners, will create a unique experience for guests.

        Very good hotel. Old colonial era hotel. Well maintained big rooms large corridors giant dining hall. Very Co operative and helpful staff and restaurant management. Best placed just in front of beautiful Kandy lake . Value for money I will highly recommend

        Rooms are old and not renovated. Our room didn't have towels and a kettle. The festive dinner was anything but festive with the downbeat music and poor food quality. The staff are enthusiastic and promptly tried to address the issues once raised.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.
          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
          Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.
          Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.
          For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.
          The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.
          If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.
          If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.
          Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.
          Hotel Cancellation Policy
          User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.
          Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.
          User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.
          Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.
          Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.
          If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.
          In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

          Modification and Reschedule Policy
          Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.
          After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
