I had a great time at Hotel Thamel. I really felt at home with super friendly and helpful staff and specifically Karma, who definitely went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable since I had an incident in the mountains. Wonderful coffee, and breakfast and super comfy rooms, and a superb location. Massive thanks to all the staff and for the "get well" salad and note. I recommend this hotel. I'll definitely be returning. Also, thanks for arranging for a car to take us around places.

Friendly and helpful staff, prepared early breakfast for us when we caught an early bus, happy to help with taxis, and money changing. Good location, quiet, with easy walk to main centre. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Ask for a balcony view.

I had a fantastic experience at hotel thamel, felt like home. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options that satisfied my taste buds each morning. The room was clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Every staffs were willing to help and took extra care of us. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. Highly recommended!

A really comfortable and welcoming hotel, Karma and the rest of the team could not have been kinder to us. Karma has been so helpful and helped us with booking day-trips around Kathmandu and always with a big smile. I cannot recommend the perfectly located Hotel Thamel enough.

My experience in Hotel thamel was delightful. We had breakfast, dinner in the hotel and it was really good. They served us good Indian food. My room was very clean and it had every basic facilities needed. The staffs were very friendly and helpful specially karma. If you are seeking more than just accommodation, do visit hotel thamel.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
