        Stayed here for 2 days just before the holidays in 2023. I was on the second floor and you have to take two elevators to get there. It's a classic funky Amsterdam building with very small rooms that were converted to hotel rooms. The room itself was nice and the bathroom was very large. The decoration was was interesting given that they call themselves a fashion hotel. There is an attached coffee shop that also serves pastries as well, but very basic pastries such as a croissant. It is right on the main drag from Amsterdam Central Station.

        We have stayed here several times and are happy with everything. The location is a quick walk from the train station and a suitable distance with carry-on luggage. The rooms are clean, well maintained and the location is ideal for an Amsterdam visit.

        The location was excellent for getting to pretty much everything. The service was average as they did store our luggage for us and provide additional pillows upon request but otherwise no interaction really. The only other positive about the room was the air conditioning worked quite well. There was no decor to be seen, just plain gray walls with multiple chunks carved out of the paint that weren’t repaired. The curtains did nothing to block out light and our room (219, would highly recommend avoiding) facing the street got so much noise we had to sleep with earplugs and even then some noise got through. The bathroom was fine except for the old shower curtain that would make the room smell like feet when it would get wet.

        I’m going to start with the positive. The location was perfect for us. We literally walked to everything we wanted to do in the city and there were plenty of restaurants nearby to eat at. The customer service though was terrible. The attendant in the box could not/ would not meet any of our needs. We booked a room that said it could be upgraded; upon arrival she told us she could not accommodate us. They will not do early check-ins (even an hour early) so don’t even bother. It was our honeymoon and we mentioned that to the attendant. This hotel does nothing special for the guests for those types of occasions. The room in my opinion was ok. It was dusty in there which flared up my allergies. They need to deep cleans those rooms. Also, there is no “lip” in the shower and the water splashes all over the floor in the sink/ toilet area. The floor was completely wet when I got out of the shower. Lastly, it’s very noisy. You can hear everything from those rooms, they have very little insulation.

        It was a labyrinth to find our room 😂 We had our own bathroom but no Wardrobe... instead there was a clothes rack and a chair 🪑 The bedside table was the safe itself. The room was small, definitely not suitable for people with claustrophobia. The curtain and the walls had the same pattern, both were made of fabric. Didn't really like that:/ The bathroom was small too, the water from the shower doesn't really get stopped by anything🤭 So go first on the toilet before you shower🚿 The location was dope though. All the shops and stores were right next to the hotel 🥳 We asked for another room because the pictures on the website showed much larger rooms. They actually told us that all rooms are about the same size:/ The pictures are from the more expensive rooms...
