Nice accommodation for 3 star. Very dark and moody. Gives the effect of luxury accommodation. Unfortunately, the room wasn't cleaned to the same high standard we had experienced elsewhere in Japan. There was a dirty cup and used toothbrush still in the bathroom and the translation barrier from English to Japanese was not being understood with reception. Not much room to sit toiletries or hang towels in bathroom. Pillows were awful to sleep on (rock hard)! Coin operated washing machine was handy; although, it did not dry my clothes in time (even after 3 x extra 30 minute runs), so I was forced to pack wet clothes. Everything else was good. Loved the free drinks in the bar area daily, and the quality of food and breakfast was really good! Amenities in reception area was a huge plus! Close enough to the station, which was great!

The location is a little bit out the way from bus stations and train stations, but apart from the walk with our luggage to and from, we didn’t mind the walking, too much. The lounge, lobby/reception, hallway and amenities were all stunning. The ambiance lends itself to instant relaxation. We had booked the larger room, it had Japanese tatami and a very comfortable two adjoined double beds with amazing comforter and duvet. Another reviewer mentioned a shuttle would be helpful, that would be really nice if the hotel offered it. Apart from the slightly inconvenient location, this hotel absolutely should be a 5 star in our opinion. We would stay again 100%.

Great place near the station and in walking distance of many attractions. Had a really easy check in and the room was adorable. The bathroom was a bit small and the shower only had a wall of glass and a lightly transparent shower curtain to seperate the rooms. The shower itself was amazing with a rainfall shower head and really good water pressure!

We over all enjoyed our three nights stay at tou. Easy walk to Kyoto station and there are some really nice restaurants and bars near by. A few things we wanted them to improve were air conditioner in the room(it won’t be set below 20 degrees, so my partner felt the room was too warm.) And the room makeup was t great. Other than that all great and really nicely designed.

I spent 4 nights at Tou and it was lovely. Spacious rooms with beautiful Japanese design, excellent amenities, delicious breakfast and helpful service. Really affordable price too. I am surprised it is considered a 3 star hotel, it rivals 5 stars by Australian standard ! Don’t be put off by the location being a bit further away from the attractions, it is very close to station and a peaceful area.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
