        Hotel is in a great location for train journey stopovers if you are travelling through Barcelona Sants. Small, clean, comfortable rooms, 24 hour reception and a decent lounge area with hot and cold drinks machines. Also an outside terrace on an upper floor .

        Stayed in a single room for 2 nights in October. Friendly staff, free luggage storage before check-in, strong and hot water for shower, extremely close to Sant station&supermarket&restaurants, highly recommended!

        Not good. Not terrible, but not good. The free Wifi was unusable rubbish. Constructed as cheaply as possible, and not weathering the rigours of daily guests, it’s shabby and a decidedly 1-star look & feel & smell. Not dirty, but not 4-star clean, either. Balcony door was broken and wouldn’t lock, and the safe is designed for ants, not humans. Worst, and perhaps the thing you need the most for a cheap layover hotel, the shower is not only tiny, but the person who designed it with a bulky temp/pressure-lever protruding well into what precious little space exists inside the shower means every second time you move around, you bump the water flow off or too-hot/cold. Based on market prices, you get what you pay for here.

        I got a clean room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fine size. The bathroom had a good size and there were toiletries and a hair dryer. Good amount of towels. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice park nearby. Location is great, very close to a train station and to a 20 min. direct train to the airport. The personal was friendly.

        I seriously don’t know where to start. Hotel Transit was the worst place I have ever stayed in. I stayed there for 2 nights with my fiancée and everything was fine until the cleaning ladies decided to enter our room without our permission. When we left the room, we put “do not disturb” on the lock but that did not stop them (As far as I know, that means that no one is allowed to enter the room until we remove the sign). We consciously left some things that are very worthy (and we were very sceptical about our decision since it’s a one-star hotel), including my necklace that was around 800€. When we came back we realized that our room was tied up, as soon as we saw that, we knew that something was not right. The necklace (which has a sentimental value to me) was missing and we instantly knew that it was stolen from them. When we went downstairs to tell the receptionist (Maksim) what happened, he immediately started to defend his colleagues and said that they don’t have anything to do with this, even though I told him there was a “do not disturb sign”. He was very rude and intimidating and not helpful at all so we had to go to the police station because he refused to contact his colleagues and ask them anything about it. When we came back from the police, we saw a manager (Javier) at the reception and he started yelling at us and telling us to pack our stuff and leave. We are a couple that travels the world and we stay in all types of hotels and we never had such a bad experience. When we were forced to leave, Javier pushed me as we were on the door step and said all kind of bad words to me and my fiancée. Think twice about booking this hotel, if you ever decide to go, do not forget to bring a bodyguard and a camera that you’re going to put in your room, just in case.:)
