        I recently had the pleasure of staying at your wonderful hotel in Amsterdam and felt compelled to share my positive experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality provided by the entire staff, especially Kike, the receptionist, made our stay truly memorable. Kike went above and beyond to ensure that my girlfriend and I felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. His warm greeting upon arrival set the tone for the entire stay. What truly stood out were the personalized recommendations he provided, enhancing our Amsterdam experience with local insights that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. In summary, our time at this hotel was marked by excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and the invaluable assistance. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

        The hotel room, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. Firstly, its subterranean location was not clearly communicated in the Dutch-written advertisement, potentially causing confusion for guests. The room's limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. Surprisingly, there were no proper pillows, only large sofa cushions, and despite requesting one, none was provided. Additionally, the absence of a headboard, coupled with the room's small window that required maintenance assistance to open, created a somewhat claustrophobic atmosphere. The passage leading to the room was not only narrow but also posed safety concerns, lacking a lift for accessibility. The room suffered from total darkness, lacking external light sources. Adding to the discomfort, there was no table or chair available. The bathroom lacked a door for the shower, resulting in water flooding the floor after each use. Further, the bathroom's top ceiling showed signs of corrosion, and the switchboard had lost its paint, highlighting maintenance issues. The mirror was inconveniently positioned too high, affecting practicality. The most disappointing aspect was the unhelpful attitude of the staff who checked me check-in. A lack of coordination between morning and evening staff members led to confusion regarding a simple request. Fortunately, another staff member intervened, deescalating the situation and providing the necessary assistance. Regrettably, this overall negative experience leaves me with the decision not to revisit this hotel in the future. I hope this feedback contributes to improvements for both the hotel and prospective guests.

        Normally I only leave a review if it’s a good one to support the hotels, and don’t post any complaints because I how hard people people work in hotels. But for this hotel I felt I need to make a expectation. It was a true nightmare. The bed was terrible (felt like a camping bed). The room was dirty, way too small and way too expensive for the “small double room” they give you its barely a single room.. the only window was very tiny with a view of the AC units of the neighbouring hotel. Additionally, it was damp and moist in the room, because there was no central air system and you’re in the basement. The sound of the cheap external fan they placed was so loud I didn’t sleep at all (even wearing ear plugs) and it’s also crazy hot in the room because they placed a heating pipe underneath the floor that heats up the room. Seriously the worst hotel experience I had in a very long time and the staff was not understanding and did not want to switch rooms. On the website they don’t communicate very clear that the small double room is in the Basement, which I find very misleading. Don’t book this room unless you are prepared for a hostel like experience. (For no hostel-prices!😂)

        We stayed here for a mini-moon- they ensured that they helped make our stay extra special. The staff were very friendly and helpful- going above and beyond! The rooms were clean and modern. There is no air-conditioning, but they do have a fan which works very well. The location is perfect! It's away from the noise of central Amsterdam but is easily accessible to all areas. There is a tram station right outside, but we were able to walk everywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and if we come back to Amsterdam, we will likely stay here again.

        Lovely place and friendly staff, you are not far away of shops, it's not in a lost place. The rooms are tiny if you travel with suitcases but if you are just enjoying the city its really perfect :)
