A good hotel, in a great location. Room was clean and has everything you need - we have a family of 5 (with three little kids) and found it comfortable. The location is excellent - within walking distance to the Colosseum. The breakfast included was appreciated, food was fresh, and they kept it well stocked. The staff are helpful, polite, and do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. If your looking for a decent room, close to everything, at a competitive price point - then Hotel Valle should be on your list.

At the end of a family road trip we wanted to spend 2 nights in Rome, so we looked for an honest hotel at a reasonable price through booking. But this is beyond imagination! Not only unimaginably and dangerously dirty, with a musty smell everywhere and bathroom curtains full of fungus, but also with difficult access from the room to a lift and stairs in case of need. In addition, at check out we were charged an additional 6 euros per person per day for taxes that were not even mentioned in the first place. I wonder how booking.com accepted this unacceptable accommodation cooperation! Her credibility is seriously damaged!

The staff was very kind and helpful. I changed the room 3 times because the first room was very dusty (probably was not used for a very long time) the sheets were dirty and the bathroom was moldy. The second room was cleaner but the toilet had no toilet seat. The third room was acceptable. That's where I stayed more.

On arrival, the hotel smelt heavily of damp. Our first room wasn't clean, and the shower head would only hang down. The mounting bar was broken. We tried 3 other rooms before we found one that was half acceptable, one room had a shower that would only allow someone the size of a 12 year old child through the door!. The room we had was very tired with the laminated floor lifting, no door on the shower, the shower head again hung down, if you put the water on hard the head would shoot up spraying water over the ceiling and near the electrical boxes placed there. The shower was coated in limescale. Only one socket worked in the room, making charging phone's etc really hard, the lights only worked on the master switch, so either all (that worked) were on or all off! The tops of the curtains were coated in thick dust and the wall above the bed was also hanging with dust from the Air-conditioning unit. Outside the window was a filthy courtyard. We tried rooms 119, 116, 114, 115 and stayed in 111.

I stayed in the hotel from 18th -20th December. To be fair the location is brilliant it is literally in the centre of everything. The breakfast which is included is a bit tuned off. Very basic and all sweets. The staff are friendly and nice. The room is not so great, I have been itchy on my whole stay I got scared if there will be a bugs under the bed so I used clean towel and used it as a bed sheet. I did not informed the staff as I do not want to be a complainant customer and I wish I could upload the pictures here as a proof. The telephone to call the operator is not working at all, there’s no plug available on the bed side , there’s only 1 plug which is next to the tv hence I did not manage to use the tv because I have to use the only 1 plus to charge my phone. There’s always room for improvement as this hotel is beautiful except it seem all forgotten.
