I love this hotel. The decor is cute, the employees are terrific…friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, rates are reasonable. Some of the rooms are a little small, but workable. I’ve only visited in the winter so far and getting the temperature right has been a little challenge on each visit (too chilly then too warm). Neil and Aidan were great!

This hotel met my artistic and nostalgic personality. From the beautiful head sculpture heads that greet you when you enter the facility to the beautiful art pieces that decorate the wall. They had awesome art decals and old 80s n 90s artifacts like Batman comics and etch a sketch. The beds are so firm and the pillows are too, it gave me a great night's sleep. Everything we needed was in the neighborhood. They even have a Trader Joes across the street.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Versey, and I must say, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The lack of security and the disrespectful behavior of the staff left me feeling unsafe and extremely disappointed. Firstly, one of our fellow guests managed to steal a key card unbeknownst to me and my partner. This individual then proceeded to knock on our hotel room door and even approached the front desk, claiming that it was our fault for giving him the key. This incident alone is a clear indication of the hotel's lack of proper security measures. To make matters worse, when I called the receptionist to report the incident and express my concerns, I was met with nothing but rudeness. The receptionist not only hung up on me multiple times but also ignored three separate calls I made from my room. It was only after I resorted to calling from my cell phone that he finally answered, and even then, he hung up on me again. This kind of unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. Feeling concerned for my safety and unable to go back to sleep, I decided to go downstairs and speak to the receptionist in person. However, even face-to-face, the receptionist showed no remorse or willingness to address the situation appropriately. Insisting that it was us who were causing the problem. This level of disregard for the well-being of guests is simply unacceptable. In addition to the lack of security and disrespectful behavior, I must also mention that Hotel Versey is not family-friendly. The overall atmosphere and the way the staff handled the situation made me question the safety and suitability of this establishment for families. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at Hotel Versey if you value a secure and peaceful night. The lack of security measures, coupled with the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of the staff, make this hotel a place to avoid. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a different accommodation option that prioritizes the safety and comfort of its guests. ---

I stayed at this hotel due to the location for an event my daughter and I were going to. I also like hotels that offer fun themes in decorations. Upon arriving at the hotel we were already excited with the entrance of the hotel it was decorated with very colorful and fun art. We enjoyed taking photos as we walked to the check in desk. We were told we were given a free upgrade which of course make us very happy. The elevator had lots of interesting stickers to read while traveling to our room. The room itself was very clean including the bathroom. The comforters on the beds were super fluffy and there were four different weights of pillows to choose between. There were two things I can note on the negative side of our visit but were not worth taking away from the 5 stars. One would be that the room does have water bottles but they cost 6.99 each if you need water, even for making your coffee in the morning, unless you want to drink from the bathroom sink (which we did not). We walked across the street to Trader Joe's where we were able to get water bottles for 17 cents each. The other is that there is a fire department close by and we did hear the fire trucks coming by our window several times. If u are a light sleeper, which we are not, this may be a problem for you. The surrounding area has many stores, restaurants, and other places of interest. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely stay there again.
